Reazonable. Old but clean rooms. Recently refurbished but very simple. Old looks bathroom. Nice price in comparison with berlim prices. Small public areas hotel, small bar and very simple common areas.
Decent budget hotel within easy walking distance to public transport about 10 minutes walk from the airport express trains. Plenty of hot water and clean rooms made up every day. Had a shower no bath. Didn't have breakfast at 13 euros small cafe/bar 2 minutes down the road plenty of choice and good service around 5 euros. Would stay at this hotel again but don't think I will visit Berlin again. Pub just across the road mixture of locals and tourists and hey if you smoke you can do so inside😊
Hotel is on great location in former centar of west Berlin, very close to metro station.Everything you need is in walking distance, good little pub with draft beer, bakery, market wich work until 11pm,KadeWe shoping centar... Hotel itself has seen a better days, but it's clean and the service is great. We were on the 6- th floor in june and I can tell you that it can be very warm and there is no aircodition and no minibar.Wi-fi is limited to one device and 24 hour after wich you need to renew your password but signal is good.Over all you get what you paid. I recommend it as a base for a tourist visit of Berlin, but maybe not in hot summer months.
With the exception of patchy wi-fi, I could not fault this hotel at all - and I am a very picky traveller. The room we stayed in (501) was generously spacious with plenty of shelf space for clothes. I was particularly impressed with the quality of the mattress and the pillows. The staff was remarkably well trained and up to any task. Well done.
With its price I think fair choice, clean and friendly staff with good price, although it is far away from metro station and the bus is coming every 30 min, when I booked with them they was the cheapest available solution
First time at this hotel , room comfortable and clean . Excellent location ( Wittenbergplatz ) my only critique is that the rooms could so with being updated to a more contemporary look . We will deff stay here again
As others have shown in their reviews, this hotel has both good rooms and rooms that are in great need of repair. Unfortunately, we were assigned a room that had significant wear and tear and was in need of major renovation. There were multiple holes in the curtains. The room smelled of mold and mildew and the wallpaper was torn and damaged in several places. At best, this part of the hotel is worthy of two-stars. I wouldn't stay here again, in spite of the convenient location. The rooms are poorly ventilated. There is no air conditioning, in spite of being in the center of Berlin. Overall, this is a disappointing stay.
This hotel is popular with tour groups, which is quite logical because of its location close to S- and U-Bahn lines and the Bus 100 and 200 stops. Sound proof rooms with double door. Spacious double bed room that contains nice chairs and a large closet. There is sufficient space on the desk for glasses, coffee maker and still your books and laptop. Bit of a small TV in the corner should you wish to watch it from the bed. The bed is okay, bit warm. There is no temperature control in the room so in mid-summer it can become hot. The bath room is sufficient: large bath with really hot water and a small closet. Cleaning starts early and is done thoroughly every day. They even (out of service) closed my curtains to cover the room for the sun and the heat. Other staff is friendly but nothing special (as in many German hotels). They charge €1,50 for luggage storage and €10 for an extra WIFI code for a second apparatus. I would think this is a bit out of date thinking. As said: the hotel is popular for tour of both elderly as well school groups. They might come for the location and the breakfast, which is sumptuous and leaves you a lot of choice. It can however be crowded in the breakfast room. These small peculiarities make me give them not the full five stars. But overall a decent hotel with all the basics you need, good service and an excellent price ratio.
It was very easy to go from the hotel to everywhere else in Berlin. It is barely two minutes away from the subway. I think this is the best, as Berlin has places to visit everywhere, and being close to the subway makes it easy to visit all of them. Though we arrived later than 1 am and we had no problems with the check in. The subway opens at 4:30, and so it was also perfect to pick early flights. The room was very large, and it was clean. The hotel is a little old, but it is still clean and comfortable. We got a really good offer when renting the room, and so our relation quality price was unbeatable. The area is also quiet, and during the nights we were leaving the window open to sleep with no problems. The only bad thing is the internet connection. We could only get access for one of our mobile phones, and only for 24 hours (didn't count the time off-line). So it meant rationing the use of the internet to the minimum.
This hotel is situated nicely for Schöneberg and transport to the rest of Berlin. There is Good food and nice shopping in the area! Be aware However that the hotel covers 2 buildings, one of which has been renovered and one has not! The website pictures are from the renovated building, and the great deals are for rooms in the unrenovated building! So dont be surprised if you get a room that is significantly different and more worn down than the pictures might suggest! But despite this, even the worn rooms are clean and comfortable and value for money! But not as nice as the pictures suggest!
