This is an amazing hotel. From the second you arrive, you are treated to some of the best service I have had. Everyone from the person who greeted us at our car to reception to delivering our bags, they all wanted to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The hotel is in a quieter location and overlooks the Zoo. We had balcony with a great view of some of the animals. The rooms are stylishly appointed with plenty of space to stretch out and relax. The bar was beautiful with amazing cocktails and bartenders who were happy to share their favorites with you. You just felt happy to come back to this hotel.
Joined my husband on a business trip to Berlin for four nights. One of highlights of our stay was Das Stue. Service and ambience of hotel was always welcoming, in particular when it was so cold outside. Front desk and concierge very helpful. We had daily breakfast and occasional late lunch or evening drinks at hotel and so enjoyed the food and staff. We never had a disappointing moment. Being located next to the park was also a highlight. We had a junior suite and liked having the spacious room. I had a wonderful massage and used the sauna at the spa to warm up. Only drawback was most restaurants and historical sights are in East Berlin but a quick taxi ride served as an easy mode of transportation. In the warmer months it would be fun to bike through the park to East Berlin. If I return to Berlin I would most certainly stay at Das Stue.
Amazing hotel, Really nice and trained staff. The rooms are confortable, the design of the hotel is beautiful. I love the library spaces that make you feel home. The restaurant (the casual one and the Michelin one) are also really good. Highly recommended
We loved this property so much that we circled back for an extra two nights on the back end of our trip. It’s location is in a quieter part of Berlin amidst the architecturally interesting embassy row but we were still able to walk or take short cab rides to the main historical sites. Having direct access to the Berlin Zoo from Das Stue’s private gate was a treat and the setting alongside both the zoo and the Tiergarten was perfect. The room that we had was very spacious and bright with great views overlooking the zoo and the city. The service everywhere was excellent from the front desk to the concierge to the bellmen. Breakfast each morning was exceptional and we loved the bar in the evening. They have live music a few nights a week. All of the bartenders are excellent and work hard at their craft. We particularly enjoyed getting to know Nicholas and Michaela on our nightly visits. This was our first trip to Berlin but definitely not our last and we will stay at Das Stue when we return.
If you want a bit of luxury for a weekend in Berlin then this hotel is the place to go. Stunning hotel right next to the Tiergarten, excellent food and great service. Incredibly helpful if you want recommendations. I look forward to my return visit.
Great everything overall Amazing wine list Restaurant run by Paco Pérez Bar was really lovely with great live band the making area of the bar is quiet funny, bubble garden smoking area. the building is stunning and well decorated. clean, very polite staff. will definitely go back !
I have been at this hotel i think maybe 4 times! It have been a true pleasure from check in to check out. When i was checking in, i got an upgraded room! Actually a junior suite from the kind yound danish man behind the desk. Danish and norwegian is pretty close, so he understand norwegian as well. The service was fortræffelig as they say it in danish. Breakfast was great too!
We been out all day in Berlin and was recommended to visit Das Stue - a part of the olddanish embassy now converted into a luxury boutique hotel. We just want to pop in to have a quick look. But the very kind concierge from Luxembourg was so kind and professional and gave us a big tour of the hotel so we ended up seeing everything. Very impressive and very high quality and so friendly and down to earth professional employees. I will book next time. Thank you so much.
Nowadays from the moment you book a hotel you can get a sense of the experience you are going to have and Das Stue is a great example . Taking my partner for a surprise birthday trip to Berlin next week I booked a room on their website Within 24 hours Stefanie in reservations was back to check on my requirements and made sure I had a nice room overlooking the garden and zoo. My partner is a real foodie and Nina in Concierge immediately followed up with great choices for restaurants and bars . We are currently discussing best options . The point is I already feel like I now no the level of service and standard of the hotel and that I can relax and enjoy our few days because we are in safe hands . That's the new standard for hotels don't wait for the guests to arrive to make your mark, earn your reputation beforehand
Too bad we can give only 5 stars, because Das Stue deserves far, far more. We've stayed in hotels that had great locations, great food, great rooms, great staff. We have never stayed in a hotel that put them all together like Das Stue! There is absolutely nothing to fault here. We felt comfortable and well-cared for during our stay. We ate only breakfast here, but the food was fantastic. Stop looking at other places and book here. You won't regret it!
