Wow this was a wonderful experience. This hotel was once an Embassy, and is simply beautiful. The rooms however have all the newest comforts and technology to the curtains opening on a digital display. For a week in Berlin, this was the perfect location. Walking distance to much-and perfectly located next to Tiergarten park and zoo. The staff was amazing-and Robert particularly checked me in and made sure I had all the details I needed for my stay in Berlin and Iyevars(sp?) one of the best doorman in the city to help with recommendations.. I bought the breakfast package and was very glad I did. I was traveling with others staying here and we met every morning for a delightful breakfast buffet-and I really mean delightful to start your day and they keep it open for 4-5 hours until 11am. They even have hybrid battery/pedal bikes to rent when needed which are amazing for a day of biking through Berlin. I could go on-but my stay at Das Stue was very special and a cherished memory. Thank you to all the Staff for my friends and my stay with you.

Really lovely hotel with excellent staff. Good casual restaurant. Michelin star restaurant closed in August. Nice little gym. Spa, sauna and pool available. Rooms have Krups coffee machines and very nice amenities. Air conditioning.

Das Stue exceeded our expectations at every turn. It is a beautiful hotel situated in a quiet (but accessible) part of Berlin. Every detail for guest comfort and relaxation has been carefully considered and executed flawlessly. We could not be happier with our stay and and look forward to returning on our next trip through Berlin!

Das Stu is a n elegant, quiet, well located hotel located next to the beautiful Tiergarden. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The rooms were somewhat compact but well appointed. Unfortunately the thick down comforters were way too warm even with air conditioning during our recent summer stay.

Das Stue: My wife and I stayed at Das Stue for 2 nights in late Feb 2014. Our room was a basic room but we REALLY liked the room, the bed, the shower etc. Considering we were there on an off season and got probably one of the best rates, it was still very expensive. The hotel has a beautiful lobby and the restaurant/bar was also very beautiful. We chose not to eat there as the focus seemed to be shellfish which we do not enjoy but primarily because you will spend a minimum of $100 per plate. Multiple courses easily in the >$200/plate range. Additionally, we used the bikes one day that are available through the hotel, parked there two nights and used a few items from the minibar. Those 3 things added $200. For two nights we were over $800 and breakfast was not included. We had a great stay and since we enjoyed our stay it's tough to say not worth the money. If you are bargain shopping 4 or 5 star hotels, I would say you can find some really nice places for much less money. When you pay that much for the room you would think breakfast or parking or bikes or something is included. One negative thing is the lighting system in the room is a bit complicated and ours malfunctioned creating an overhead light that would not turn off. Staff had to come to our room late at night when we were already for bed and spent 15 minutes in our room fixing it. It was awkward. Just an apology, that's it.

Hey Laurie Thank you so much for your kind feedback. Once a year our Michelin Star Restaurant - Cinco - is closed but that's maybe a good reason for you to come back. We would be really happy to welcome you again here. Kindest regards, Merve Yaris PA to General Manager
