very professional, friendly und sometimes lucky Service with great food und a large range of tea! a perfect place for a sunday afternoon in Berlin! the Hotelbar is also a good place for some Drinks after..............
Awesome service and great food. Hotel is ideally located. Plenty options at walking distance. It was a bank before and converted in to hotel. Conference hall has natural light. Hotel is historic and has a story. We had the opportunity to interact with Mr Rocco Forte. --
The hotel inside is gorgeous, an old bank that has been slightly modernized into a luxury hotel! It has a very intimate atmosphere while still having a five-star service. The rooms are all very big, comfortable, and beautiful and so are the bathrooms. The breakfast is top class and probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever seen. The choice ranges from a variety of smoothies to eggs prepared always perfectly the way you like, to other unusual things such as coconut chia pudding. Everything was perfect! I recommend it 10/10
I always have a good feel about a hotel when I contact a concierge in advance of my stay and get friendly and quick responses. This was the case here. I had a package coming ahead of my arrival and I was really impressed by all the help I got from the concierge. By the way, this continued during our stay when the whole team at the concierge desk when above and beyond in their efforts to help us. Anyhow, my advanced positive feelings were reinforced upon arrival. The hotel is beautiful and the location is fantastic. All of the staff were excellent. The rooms were clean and a good size. Basically, we really really liked our stay here. On our first day, the woman working the breakfast room appeared to be in a really bad mood and we didnt feel particularly welcomed to be honest. On the second day she was still there but there was another young woman working the room who was incredibly nice and helpful and more than made up for the way we were greeted on day one. Basically, anyone visiting Berlin for a vacation or business should stay here. I would highly recommend it.
Nice hotel with excellent service. Junior Suite rooms are pretty spacious. Anke Seumel is one of the best concierges I’ve every dealt with - superb service and perfect restaurant recommendations. And, she proactively organised a luggage repair free of charge, going way beyond the call of duty. Bar is nice too, but seems to alternate between being very busy, or very quiet depending on other events being on nearby.
We stayed for 3 nights in mid July and had a great time. The rooms were amazing and so was the location. Helped by beautiful weather and a few drinks on the roof terrace! Must stay imo. Breakfast was relaxed and the food was good. The staff were also polite but helpful and helped us get the essentials for our small children when we ran out! Steps so they can help check in and out is a cool touch.
was there for a business trip with Au-pair. frequently had to ask for help. room service was average. SPA area not really special. well located right next to touristic places, maybe nicer in summer with rooftop terrace....
Beautiful hotel, run and managed by a wonderful, thoughtful, kind team who are ready and waiting to provide every comfort possible. You should all be incredibly proud of your work! Wonderful, just wonderful.
Perfect stay, friendly efficient and caring staff. We enjoyed the bar very much as well as the breakfast with an excellent choice of fruits and different breads. Perfect location for museums and the opera.
This hotel is in a great location. You are walking distance to the museums, stores, and of course the famous chocolate store) The bathroom was modern and lovely with heated floors. We stayed in the historic suite which was spacious with lots of windows. The staff is lovely, I especially loved my facial at the spa. The young girl was so caring and really cared. My only negative was the hotel lobby, I feel it needs to be updated with a more glam entrance. The floors looked old but not in a historic way.
