I stood in Room 104 and I was very surprised, I could not find any aircondition unit nor its controller, as during my stay was really hot outside. Room was on the other hand nice and well cleaned and staff at the breakfast restaurant and front office was very friendly. Breakfast was simple but good, however I would expect for budget hotel slightly cheaper price then 14 EUR per person. Generally hotel is not bad, but next time I will try hotel next door, which is IBIS Budget or IBIS or NH suites.
This is NOT a 4 star hotel. It is a 2 star hotel with 5 star lobby and restaurant. Who cares about the lobby and restaurant when their rooms suck?! Our room was small and had a dirty carpet. Also, the cleaning was non-existing! We had to ask for new towels every day of total 3 days stay. The bed sheets were not changed either. Big disappointment!!!
Excellent! The room was nice and spacey. We had a bedroom, livingroom and two bathrooms with bathtubs! We traveled with our 3 small dogs. There were food bowls, blankets, treats and toys for them, and they were welcome everywhere in the hotel. A special door sign let the maids know wether the dogs were out or in the room alone. Our car was safely parked underground at no charge. We had the breakfast buffet one morning and it was delicious! Big selection and fair price. Central location. We are definatly coming back!
Great hotel with all the facilities needed very clean and modern. The bar was quiet but we got lovely cocktails. Berlin is a vety katge city so nowere is what u would call central but this hotel was Walking distance to an underground/subway! Overall a very pleasant stay!
The Relexa hotel is in a good location...very central and within walking distance to everything. The hotel itself is comfortable and clean. Unfortunately, our overall opinion of the hotel was lowered considerably, when soon after our arrival, I asked the receptionist Cindy, about directions to a meeting point for a walking tour. She was obviously not familiar with this tour...but her rudeness, lack of interest & sarcasm was so unwarranted, that it took me completely by surprise. After she all but dismissed me, another hotel guest standing nearby came to my rescue & showed me on the map the meeting point for the walking tour company I was enquiring about. Cindy could have done any number of things: suggested another walk that she was more familiar with, telephoned the company I was asking about, etc. Hotel Relexa really needs to remind their staff that they are not only in customer service, but also in tourism and a prerequisite of their work is courtesy, patience & knowledge of their surroundings. I would definitely not stay here again nor recommend it to other travellers.
Short three night visit to Berlin the Relaxa hotel was ideally situated only a short walk to the S Bahn station friendly staff very helpful and the evening menu was very reasonably priced and a good choice will certainly stay again on our next visit
The relexa is a well located hotel with good service. All the staff are excellent and while the foos options are limited the food is always good. Overall this is a good hotel for a business trip or short stay to see the city.
I've stayed in over 100 4 star hotels and honestly don't think I can remember any of them having NO AIR CONDITIONING. Well this was my first! The room had a window that barely opened and the room and rest of the hotel was hot and stuffy from beginning to end. My room was around 80 degrees. Admittedly when double checking the hotel details it does not say the have AC, although maybe I'm naive, but I would never have imagined a '4 star hotel' without it. In my book this makes it 3 star. They gave me a small fan for the room which helped but only if you are in front of it, and also means it had to be on all night which for light sleepers would be a total pain. Room was very clean and shower worked well. Bed was fairly comfortable. Only English channels were news - yawn. Location isn't brilliant but ok and I knew that. The hairdryer was pretty hopeless. Free water is with gas - yuck. Why not give still? I definitely wouldn't stay here again and have learned a lesson to always check hotels have AC regardless of their alleged star rating.
Stayed here to attend the Global Soil Week in May 2017, Nice cozy ambiance , convenient in out timings, nice comfortable clean beds, the overall quiet location but in walking distance from the happening places , Nice experience food was good. Worth it
My boyfriend recently booked a room, but he accidentally booked it for a month in advance instead of the correct days. Yes, this was his mistake. However, we called the hotel within less than an hour of booking and explained the mistake. We did not ask to cancel, asked if it would be possible to re-book with them for the correct weekend, and we were even prepared to pay a fee for our mistake. The booking is over a month away, so it is not that they would have had no one to take our place. However, they demanded a 100% cancellation fee even after we explained the situation. This is a cold, money-grubbing, customer-service less hotel. I would avoid it at all costs.
