Arrived on a Saturday and and to be out early the next morning before breakfast.... desk person offered to have a "to go" breakfast bag for me and sure enough it was all set when I left the next morning at 3:30 am.... and they got me a taxi to the airport... room was super nice too.. great choice.
I had 2 days in this hotel. What i have got and experienced were horrible service, dirty carpet in a room, poor breakfast(both days there were nothing to eat, since they didn’t fill up the plates often) and this all for more than 100 € per night!!! What a disappointment! I guess this hotel has a main business with conferences. So that they barely pay attention to the rest...
What a lovely hotel, friendly welcoming staff at the reception and very helpful. Our room was spacious, clean, modern, lovely and warm, super comfy beds. Plenty of toiletries, towels and hot water. Couldn't have picked a better hotel. It was also close ( walking distance) to all the major sites. Berlin Wall, Brandenburg gate, DDR museum etc.. Shops, restaurants (If you didn't want to walk the metro was just up the road) and of course the main reason for going to Berlin was the fantastic Christmas markets. Had breakfast at the hotel one morning, great start to any day. Loads of choice hot and cold. It was just perfect in every way. Thank you Relexa Hotel will return one day.
I enjoyed my two-night stay at the relexa hotel Stuttgarter Hof in Berlin in late December 2017. I flew in that morning from the U.S., and I especially appreciated my room being ready for early check-in (during such a busy time!) when I arrived at the property. My other request, a room on high floor with a city view, was met as well. The front-desk staff were knowledgeable, friendly and attentive, and the hotel was tastefully decorated for Christmas. To get to/from Tegel Airport takes about 35-40 minutes even at night… The 128 Bus connecting to U6 at Kurt-Schumacher-Platz (and arriving at Kochstraße) is the easiest option during the day and all day and night on weekends. Alternatively there is an S-Bahn stop called Anhalter Straße within a three-minute walk from the hotel. S1, S2 and S25 trains in the direction of Brandenburger Tor will connect you to the TXL bus. The hotel location is peaceful (you won’t even know you are in Central Berlin), while many major landmarks, such as Checkpoint Charlie, Gendarmenmarkt, Potsdamer Platz, Mall of Berlin and Brandenburger Tor are a short walking distance away. My room was nice and very clean. No complains about bedding, pillows or soundproofing, either. Every day housekeeping did a superb job in the bathroom, including a change of towels and replenishment of toiletries. Both the room and the bathroom were adequate size-wise and comfortable temperature-wise. The shower was great, and I could easily adjust the temperature when needed. The room felt a bit stuffy as if there was no air circulation, which didn’t bother me. There was so much to explore in Berlin, and spending a lot of time in the room would have been foolish. I recommend this hotel and would stay again.
The first impression of the room may be a slight shock: it's very bland, no decoration or flair, and ours looked out on a not very exciting inner courtyard. But that's really the only negative in this very nice and accommodating hotel. For starters, the bathroom floor is heated, which is very welcome in the winter. Our bath had a full tub and the hotel provides bath salts. Everything in the room worked and it looked like it was well taken care of, with few scuff marks or signs of wear and tear. It was also very quiet, no noise from other rooms, although the hotel was fully booked during our stay. Together with the blackout curtains and the reasonable bed, this ensured good sleep quality. We were especially pleasantly surprised by the quality of the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was varied with mostly cold options but also some hot food. We also had dinner and were impressed with the high quality of the dishes and their excellent value. We especially enjoyed the black risotto with salmon and the goulash soup. Drinks at the bar were also very reasonably priced. Service was friendly and competent, and the hotel's location a five-minute walk from the S-Bahn at Anhalterbahnhof and a ten-minute walk from Potsdamer Platz with various S-Bahn and U-Bahn lines puts Berlin's many attractions in easy reach of travelers. There is a Lidl supermarket around the corner from the hotel as well as a coffee shop. Overall, a good place to stay in Berlin.
Our stay at Relexa was short (2 nights) but perfect. The staff was great, very helpful and prompt. We arrived on friday at 1 AM and they checked us in in like 2 minutes. The bar was also open and the beer was cold :) I reccomend it for the location, it is walking distance from Potsdamer Platz and Brandemburg Gate. The room was very modern and clean, a great value for money and it is situated walking distance from Sbahn(2 minutes) and you can get anywhere very fast. The trip from Schoenfeld airport to Relexa took about 50 minutes. Also it has a park in front and if you cross it, you will get to Checkpoint Charlie and Topography of Terror in 3 minutes. We couldn't have hoped for anything better, really. Reccomend it with all my heart. The hotel made out stay in Berlin perfect, even though it was brief. Thank you :)
I stayed at Relexa Hotel while on business in Berlin. This is a hotel that seems to host dance classes, conferences and other events. It is situated near Checkpoint Charlie and HAU but otherwise it is in a bit of a no man's land. However, there is ample transportation close by and room rates are reasonable. My room was airy and comfortable with a window that overlooked a nice courtyard and comfortable beds and user friendly bathroom. The breakfasts were great. The only problem for me with this hotel concerned smoking spaces set aside in the corridors and in the courtyard. Sometimes the smell of smoke was bothersome. Otherwise, allies gut!
I stood in Room 104 and I was very surprised, I could not find any aircondition unit nor its controller, as during my stay was really hot outside. Room was on the other hand nice and well cleaned and staff at the breakfast restaurant and front office was very friendly. Breakfast was simple but good, however I would expect for budget hotel slightly cheaper price then 14 EUR per person. Generally hotel is not bad, but next time I will try hotel next door, which is IBIS Budget or IBIS or NH suites.
This is NOT a 4 star hotel. It is a 2 star hotel with 5 star lobby and restaurant. Who cares about the lobby and restaurant when their rooms suck?! Our room was small and had a dirty carpet. Also, the cleaning was non-existing! We had to ask for new towels every day of total 3 days stay. The bed sheets were not changed either. Big disappointment!!!
Excellent! The room was nice and spacey. We had a bedroom, livingroom and two bathrooms with bathtubs! We traveled with our 3 small dogs. There were food bowls, blankets, treats and toys for them, and they were welcome everywhere in the hotel. A special door sign let the maids know wether the dogs were out or in the room alone. Our car was safely parked underground at no charge. We had the breakfast buffet one morning and it was delicious! Big selection and fair price. Central location. We are definatly coming back!
