Just completed a 2 night stay here, no info on our reservation but they put us in the basement, rooms have curtains which cover a wall - no windows and ventilation and the heater circulated musty air. Room was dusty with sidetables and headboard not cleaned properly and we were up sneezing during the night. When I explained this to reception she just smiled blandly and said she'd tell house keeping. When we checked out receptionist asked us if we had used the mini bar we said no, she went down to check came back up and said that she was charging us for the apple juice 'we drank' she didn't even discuss it with us just assumed we had lied - so unprofessional! In the end didn't charge us for the juice. Hotel was a bit inconveniently located had to take 2 trains to get to city centre - so many other better options you can stay at give this a MISS!
Great hotel Good location close to Metro Room was very good Very clean and tidy Great service from check in through to check out Great restaurants close by Arranged an excellent taxi service for us to get to the airport
Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean and designed. Curtains were closed by a button and lights as well. There was a safe in the closet. Towels were changed every day. We set the heating. Blanket was warm. Definitely worth its cost. Very good location(shops, dinners, malls, etc). The only disadvantage was the distance from the Berlin center, but I was the one who choose it so I know that up front.
I booked this for my husband's birthday and we had a lovely stay. The room was well decorated with lovely extras. Berlin has great public transport so we were able to get everywhere we needed to easily, using the frequent buses, trains and trams. We didn't have the breakfast, there are lots of great places to grab brunch/breakfast around the hotel. Overall, we had a very lovely stay and would return to this hotel.
If you are planning on staying here make sure you are not in the basement it’s awful, no air just recirculated via the heater/air conditioning unit. We got up every morning feeling like we’d been hit by a bus! We asked to be moved but were told we were in a budget room at nearly £100 per night don’t think that’s budget! At 12 euros for breakfast we didn’t bother much nicer hotels for cheaper and nearer to attractions
This is presented as a budget hotel with Japanese styling. It is neither of these. Dark plastic (or similar) surfaces merge with cold LED lighting, and a general cramped run-down feel in the common areas. The room was clean and basically confortable but the heating is integrated into a loud ventilation system that is linked to the card holder. The room was cold. At 115 Euros a night, it was not good value for money.
Arrived late Thursday night. The reception wasn’t that friendly to be honest. We were put in the basement. Unfortunately directly below the breakfast room so the noise was unbearable. There was also something wrong with the pipe work in the room as it made a terrible noise constantly. I let them know this at reception but they didn’t seem bothered almost like they were used to being told about it! The room was nice. Good comfy bed and nice pillows. The location was also good a stones throw from the U bahn and some nice restaurants. Everything was clean. The shower was also very good. The breakfast was fine. What you would expect and decent coffee. It was a shame about the constant noise it kind of put a dampener on our stay as it was hard to sleep beyond a certain time but we did enjoy Berlin!
Room was awesome. You can park your rental car for a daily fee (10 euros) and use public transportation. Breakfast was very good as well, make sure to select it because it´s an extra charge (12 euros). September 2017.
Some of the reviews are very mixed on here but I can only go by my experience which was a pleasant one. The hotel is on a quiet road but near plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants I recommend the xantener eck just on the corner of this road great German food. The hotel itself is clean and modern the room was comfortable, ,the lobby area could do with a bit of love and attention in places. The staff were all friendly and overall for the price I paid for 5 nights with breakfast was a bargain.
I booked a 3 night stay for a surprise for my husband's birthday. The hotel was spotlessly clean, good large comfy bed and room was superb. Prior to going I contacted the hotel for advise on restaurants and requested birthday balloons in our room. Both times the hotel staff were prompt and polite with their answers and when we booked in the staff were very very helpful. Breakfast is a bit steep at 12 euro per person per day, there are lots of coffee shops nearby. My only personal observation is that there is no hospitality in the room, you can purchase a coffee from the bar but that for me is not the same. The location is great. The transport system is fab. We dined twice at Buffalo Grill - great food and great service. Would certainly return.
