US family (2 adults, 2 young children) and 2 friends in town for the Berlin marathon. Overall, the property accommodated all of us well and I was very pleased! Pros:Great location, nice neighborhood in proximity to various restaurants, markets/grocery stores, and metro. Overall property was clean, adequately stocked bathroom & kitchen, and enough towels and blankets for our stay. We stayed 3 nights so you'd definitely need more towels beyond that. Washing machine was available but no way to dry (no regular or heated hanging racks like you see in most EU hotels or properties). Adequate lighting/lamps and fans (1 per room - it was warm!!). The outer entry into the building & the inner entry into the apartment was all controlled by key pad pin entry; no need for a smart lock app (which was a little confusing but we figured it out easily).Cons:Back garden and entry felt a bit questionable because the door to the back garden was in disrepair/couldn't be secured shut, there was a lot of garbage & clutter in the garden, as well as construction in the hallway leading to the doorway. Communication was ok at first and gradually got better as the stay neared in dates. My one issue was they they charged me in full 1 month before my stay (e.g. my stay started 9/18 and balance due stated 9/18, but they charged me on 8/18). I reached out to the manager 2x and they never responded, so I was a bit disappointed in that. After that the communication was better.
