This is a great hostel, it has a pool and sauna , the rooms are pretty confortable too, the only thing is I wouldnt recomend it for traveling solo , it's a really big hostel so a lot of big groups stay here , regarding this its a nice hostel .
Yes! I'm coming back last March after had the first visited at Plus in 2014. I stayed in the same room (girl dorm) and the inside and out vibes around just changed a little in my opinion. Always get the great support from the staff. I never expect that perfect cleanliness and quiet from the hostel because they always have a big group of students come to stay during their field trip in Berlin. This somehow distracted me at some point but my solution is put my headphones on. The rest is OK - one out of the best choices if visiting Berlin. But for those who travel alone. If you're out of the hostel for wandering around the area - please be more careful for your purse (Nothing happens to me I was OK and safe. Just be more careful. I told ya) See you again in October!
This hostel would be perfect for travellers. A very welcoming reception and plenty of amenities to take advantage of including an indoor swimming pool. The rooms were small but then again you aren't here to live in the rooms. There's a supermarket very nearby and a nightclub a minute's walk away. There's a bar in the hostel as well which is a great place to start your night. If I was going away with mates or on a stag do then I'd definitely be back here.
As a family of 2 adults and 2 teen stayed 3 nights in the hotel, delighted with the excellent choice. We arrived early and were able to lock away our luggage until our return later that night. The staff were friendly and polite. Our family room consisted of 2 single beds and bunks, each very comfortable. The room was clean and the high ceilings and large windows made the room seem very large. The location is great, only metres from the U and S Bahn stations. Would highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed here for Lollapalooza festival in September 2016 and it was an awesome choice. Short walk to the Berlin Wall and main centre of Berlin or in walking distance to train stations. Modern clean rooms and a social atmosphere if you wanted to particpate. Staff organised a airport shuttle for us which was really handy. I would stay here again :)
The hotel is a mix of an hostel in the low past and hotel in the upper. The result is a chaotic mix without an identity. Hotel rooms are very basic and I had to wait 20min before to get warm water for a shower.
Very kind and patient staff. I had some problems in the rooms and they let me switch the rooms twice without any problem even though the hotel was really at full capacity. One of the girls in the reception actually explained to me about half an hour what is there to see in Berlin and where should I go. also searching for me on the internet for all the information that I needed. The design of the place is young, modern and simply beautiful and colorful as in all of their hotels. they have a beautiful back yard with a gallery, and the common room and restaurant are very well maintained. There were very good and young vibes around and many many activities that the hotel offeres for you like yoga, excursions, free swimming pool and sauna.. (never had time to use them, but i appreciated it very much) The room was very to my liking. I stayed in a 4 girls bedrooms. there were bunk beds and the room was very comfortable and lots of space (although I know not all rooms are like that...) the bathroom also was very beautifuly designed and very clean all the time. I also loved the fact that they did not charge me extra for bedsheets (which the cleaner rearranged for me everyday - while in other hostels I had to bring bed sheets from home and put them on and off the bed while checking in and out..) and also got a new towel everyday without having to pay anything for it while in other hostels I was charged 3 euros for just one towel!) what do I think they can improve on? I am vegan so it could have been helpful to me to also be able to have there vegan food in breakfast or in their restaurant (though a vegan place was only 10 minutes away from the hotel) the pillow, mattress and blanket weren't very comfortable to me. overall I even cancelled and payed penalty cancellation for another place just so I would be able to stay 4 nights at PLUS and it was well worth it. If I am in Italy, Czech Republic or in Germany again, I will definitely choose PLUS (also stayed in PLUS Prague on this trip and on the Italy PLUS hostels in 2012 and was overall pleased as well.)
Very clean, great location and awesome bar area. Will be back there for sure. Stayed in a 3 share room with ensuite, it was great. No bunk beds and plenty of space compared to other places. Had dinner in the bar and the staff were great help celebrating a friends birthday and absolutely made her night.
Great location, a walk away from the train. Extremely large hostel with lots of amenities and a large bar downstairs. Wifi is good, outlets are located at the bottom bunk only. Really friendly staff. Small rooms but has a private full washroom and large lockers. Breakfast is 6.50 Euros located a very large cafeteria. No kitchen, just microwaves and mini fridges in the common area and a bbq. Lots of places to chill and lounge within the facility. Advice: don't put your food or beer in the mini fridges because it will get stolen (more than once) and make sure you get an invoice when you pay to avoid any double charges.
Right in the middle of the action in Berlin. Located right next to a train stop that gets you anywhere in the city quickly. The hostel organizes a lot of events to help you meet people. We stayed in a private room which was quite big and had its own bathroom. Nothing luxurious but a good place to stay and an awesome location. Really close to tons of good bars/clubs and restaurants.
