Excellent stay , best shower and nice location .. worked out very well for me. Friendly staff and easy check out.

AMAZING! This is a 5 star boutique hotel masquerading as a 4 star hotel. This was our first trip to Berlin from NYC for 4 days. The hotel is located in the transitional, hip gay friendly Kreuzberg neighborhood. It felt chill and relaxed away from the tourist hoards in Mitte. The hotel staff was without exception relaxed, anticipatory, and polished - not formal and robotic like many chain hotels. We felt pampered like guests at a friend's weekend home. The design is thoughtful and of exceptional quality - comfortable lounging chairs in lobby bar, beautiful millwork, thick solid wood doors with high quality hardware. Beautiful lightening. Sound proofing in the rooms. High quality linens. The rain showers were incredible to wash away the city after touring. Loved heated towel racks. We had a view on the square out front. This hotel felt like someone's bespoke pet project. The restaurant was so exceptional we went daily. The Peking duck was unbelievably delicious. There was nightly live musical entertainment in a relaxed salon-like setting. Breakfasts were our favorite time - reading the paper and having coffee almost alone in the lounge area. This hotel is not for everyone. It is in a gentrifying residential area on a nice public square. There are lots of cool non-chain shopping and restaurants on the commercial streets. We rode bikes everywhere and loved it. We will stay here again without question. Until then thank you wonderful staff at the Orania Hotel.
