Overall the hotel 'did the job' Everything was clean and worked.The staff were especially nice and there was a good amount of breakfast. Location was good only 5 minutes from UBahn/Metro . The room itself was just a bit functional. Bed was comfy, shower worked well but the room itself was fairly small and had little natural light. There was a bottle of water and tea making facilities but no milk and things were not replenished for the second day. Also very visible building /refurbishment was happening in the adjoining building. It was a "practical" stay but felt like a few more details couldve made it more comfortable/welcoming . nothing

I had to change my room 3 times. The first room was stinky and cold, the second had a water sink from the shower and the 3 one had no hair dresser working. They offered me a free breakfast the last night for the inconveniences. I was also sick during those days and no one even helped me carrying my stuff from.moving from room to room. The cleaning ladies entered in my room at 8am on Saturday while I was in bed sleeping. Without speaking a word of English. Very bad.

Hotel is just average. There are better options in Berlin but due to a German holiday all hotel were very expensive. Get what you pay for but the room was clean and adequate. No temperature controls including no ac. Luckily we stayed while it was cold but you have to adjust the gas heater manually to get the correct heat. Back to 1955. 😀 Another couple traveling with us had an issue in the breakfast area with the wait staff. We never ate there so I cannot comment.

We stayed at the Garner Hotel for a short city break and what a find it was. Situated very close to the tourist attractions, cafes and restaurants, it is incredibly quiet and with very comfortable beds and pillows, made for an excellent night's sleep. Reception staff were excellent and made sure that we had everything we needed. I wouldn't hesitate to come back to this Garner if we ever visit Berlin again.

The hotel is super clean and the staff is so welcoming and helpful! They even waited for us beyond their end of the day so that they could greet us personally and help us settle. Wonderful experience!

Great tourist location and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Only problem is that there is no airconditioning and it was quite hot. Also, be aware there are 2 Garner hotels in the general vicinity. One taxi driver went to the wrong one late at night.
