Really nice staff, we wanted some boiling water to make a cup of tea as no kettle in the rooms and the nice lady gave us two flasks and filled them for us to use. The room was basic but the bed was comfy, could do with an extra pillow as very low, if you skip room cleaning you get a bottle of water and feel like you are helping etc, I’d stay here again, we were moved to this hotel from the Berlin gates branch due to operational issues so the free breakfast wasn’t showing but the staff sorted it out.

Loved the location. Quick walk to the U2 subway line. Wide variety of great restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel. Rooms have a physical key on a large keychain but leaving it at the front desk as we went out was not an issue. Room was dated, but the bathroom looked newly renovated.

Overall stay was good. Locations and neighborhood are wonderful. Easy access to S Line that allowed us to be in Mitte within 15 min ride. I wish it was bit cleaner.

Large, clean room and friendly staff. U bahn station 5 minutes walk away. Tiergarten, zoo and ku'damm easily walkable. Street is generally quiet but can be noisy in the morning with deliveries.

Excellent hotel

We stayed for a few nights and it was a great experience. The staff is really friendly and efficient. Restaurant buffet and waitress were excellent. Common facilities are very clean and our room was also in very good shape. Only minor thing was a bit of dust under the bed (where no one normally looks). I will come back to this hotel next time I visit Berlin. It’s location is excellent.

Although the hotel has seen better days, for instance, the staircase carpet needs urgent change, rooms are large and quiet. Bedsheets were of a low quality. Wifi worked only in half the room. And windows are not eco friendly, so the room can get damn hot in May.

Too old, need to change to a programmable card room locks system, in order to improve security, someone was knocking at my room door inthe middle of the night without answer when I asked. My bathroom shower curtain was disgusting, it was supposed to be white color but it was yellow at the bottom due to dirt and mold.

Our room faced the courtyard and very noisy when people are talking in courtyard No air conditioning, had to sleep with windows open, no screens . There are also no bathclothes or hand towels in room. Watch you step going into bathroom, it’s a 2” step up. You’ll stub your toes. The room keys are tricky, and the only way to lock/ unlock your room from inside is to use the key. Makes it dangerous if you need to get out in case of emergency. Honestly was the worst night of sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel, because the bed felt like I was laying on broken springs sticking me in the back. Absolutely no support at all.
