Good service. Good music in the lifts! I liked live concert, modern art excibition during my stay. Breakfast was good, there was enough choices for vegetarians. ... pink rooms shocked, but slept well.
I stayed here for two wonderful stays. I love clubbing and electric guitar and pink, this is a perfect hotel for me. The good guitars are often being used, so far i ve used gibson JLP and Epiphone SG. They bring the amp and guitars to my room, awesome. The staffs are very friendly. The lobby is very special with comfy sofas, chairs, and a stage for band music. There s a seperate floor for smoking rooms which i love (i did not yet experience smoking rooms in other hotels in berlin). Love !
Stayed at nhow Berlin for 1 night. Paid 110 Euros including breakfast. Rooms: Stayed in a standard room. The room was very clean and even it was small (probably the smaller room category at the hotel) it did not feel cramped or small. The view was not at the river, but at the road. But this was not an issue. The tv was in the mirror. The room was very pink. Bed cover, bathroom, etc, etc. You must like it. I am not a fan of it, but didn't mind the overdone pink touches. The bathroom was rather small, but no issues as well there. Premises: Relaxed atmosphere, nice and clean. A lot of music touches everywhere. Reception: All were friendly and helpful. One remark though, I never experienced this before in all my years traveling in 100s of hotels: The bellboy was very eager to show the room. But he let me carry my own luggage (and did not even ask if he could carry it)! He only walked with me and showed me where the TV and safe were and expected a tip for it. Funny to walk with him dragging my own things. Breakfast: Breakfast buffet was out of this world! Really one of the best! Very nice and spacious environment and relaxed atmosphere. The quality and choice was really exceptional! So many fruits and one could make own ginger+lemon tea! Wow! Location: Depending on where you want to be in Berlin, I found this a good location. With the S Bahn you are in 3 stops in Alexanderplatz e.g. East Side Gallery and Friedrichshain trendy area are walking distance. And Seoul Kitchen, such a great restaurant, is around the block! For the price quality aspect recommend this hotel!
The nhow is a fun design place with lots of pink details everywhere. Comfortable room with smart design, like the TV embedded in the wall mirror. Hotel room was clean and had a well stocked minibar. Breakfast is good with a nice selection of food. Had the buffet dinner but that was not very tasty and the food had been on display for quite some time.
A great concept, but terrible staff with a real attitude, rude discourteous. Waving arms brushing customers off - (Fabian in the bar was cocky enough to show me his badge and say complain I do not care) Telling valued customer to complain as I do not care. My colleagues had bookings mishandled, poor customer service at the bar -Berlin had so much to offer Nhow - you can do better than this - sort it out AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
We had a short vacation from 29th-2nd of January at NHow Berlin and had a great time. The hotel is very posh and unique in its design and atmosphere. We enjoyed our evenings at the bar with live music and DJ, LOVED the guitar in the room service and the elevators which had different vibes and music (the Pop one was silent when we got in it :(). The room we stayed in was spacious and we liked that the floor in the bathroom was heated; nice touch! The breakfast was delicious and diverse. The location is in a great area, with lots of interesting landmarks , restaurants and pubs nearby. A few constructive advices: 1. At breakfast, when it is a bit more crowded, the refill of the buffet is a bit slow and the staff is a bit disoriented. 2. On New Year’s Eve , which we spent at the hotel on the terrace, it was impossible to buy anything from the small bars with a credit card or room charge . 3. The rooms and lobbies need a bit more attention and in certain places renovation is needed. For example, in our room, the wall was exfoliating in some places. This gives the customers a feeling of old and discomfort, which is sad for such a posh hotel. 4. Tried ordering room service on two separate days, could not get hold of anyone. 5. Overall, the staff has a good and positive attitude , but they were visibly disorganized and misleading. If we asked different members of the staff for information, we would get different answers. 6. An ATM machine on the premises would really help. Nevertheless we would definitely come back to NHow Berlin on our next trip!
This hotel was quite a pleasant surprise, its a very modern and bright hotel based on a music theme and the first hotel I have stayed in were you can book a guitar for your room if it takes your fancy. Really nice bar area with a stage for bands to play on unfortunately I was there mid week so nothing was booked :( The room I had was very clean and modern with a walk in shower area and a very clever TV hidden behind a sort of mirror which was great as I get fed up with walking into a room where the whole space is dominated by the flat screen TV... I only ate breakfast at the hotel and this was of a very good standard and a wide range of items to consume. Overall a very good experience and I would stay there again
I went to nhow Berlin with my best friends to celebrate the new Year and stayed few extra day as the place was incredible! We loved the location near the wall of Berlin, the staff was friendly and helpful, particularly the GM Raul Palomo who was constantly around making sure that each guest would have the best time! Breakfast was way much better than I’ve ever had in the past even in 5 stars hotels! The music was what made this place special, I loved to realize that even each elevator had a different theme. The art exhibition’s room was magical! The dinner party for New Year’s Eve was superb and really high quality food. Only thing I didn’t like was the chosen DJ who didn’t realize that no one was dancing with his alternative music. Other than that, everything was great, I’ll definitely be back again soon!
I really loved the location of this hotel. We were able to walk to the Wall Museum. We also walked to the Alexander Platz which was a 40 minute walk for those who like to walk. The rooms were very clean and complementary slippers and robes were available which is a nice touch. We had a wonderful breakfast each morning. The staff were very Helpful. The concierge Ricky was very helpful with advise and directions etc. The bar staff were also very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay again at the NHow Hotel in Berlin.
The nhow Berlin hotel could have easily become my favorite hotel, but in reality – let me tell you why you should STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. We booked our 3 nights stay about 2 months in advance, waited impatiently until our dates finally arrived – the hotel looked chic and cool, we simply couldn't wait! Everything went smoothly at first, until the second night of our visit – we came back into our room at 1:30am after a long day outside, only to find a DRUNK STRANGER, half naked, sleeping on the floor inside OUR BATHROOM. We alerted the reception, and after a short investigation it appeared that the guy was another guest in the hotel who got confused with his room number, tried to open our room – obviously unsuccessfully as he got the wrong room number – and then went down to the reception to say that the card didn't work, said OUR room number and got a new card to OUR room without checking if his name matched the room! THIS WAS CONFIRMED BY OLVIER AT THE RECEPTION, who himself confirmed the card was given to the guest without confirming his name. As it was 2am in the morning, we were told we would be able to speak to the manager the next morning but in the meantime, we obviously asked to move to a different room and we were given breakfast for our remaining 2 mornings. Luckily for us, the drunk guy was harmless and was as shocked as we were, but what if the guy had been violent?! What if he had attacked us or stolen our things? All of our belongings were obviously inside the room. The next morning we spoke to Mr André Hummel, the Deputy Hotel Manager, who apologized and promised he would be in touch with us to see how can they make up for this issue. This was on Saturday (9/12), and up to this moment, we still haven't heard from him. When we checked out from the hotel the next day, we were told to pay for the full amount – after explaining that we were promised some kind of compensation, we were told that they wouldn't charge us for now and that we would receive a call from the manager the next morning. Not only the call never came, not only they DID charge us the FULL amount, only HOURS later once we were on the plane back home, they also tried to blame us for the incident, saying the door was unlocked (COMPLETLEY untrue!!!) – if the room was unlocked, why would he try to use the key in the first place? And then ask the reception for a new key?! We had valuable things in our room, not only we would never leave the room unlocked (the doors shut closed & lock automatically), the guy DID try to use his key and couldn't enter at first, AND as mentioned before – the reception CONFIRMED he was given our key!!! This is absolutely ridiculous and we also have pictures and videos of the incident to prove them wrong. Trying to blame us for THEIR recklessness and irresponsibility, not getting back to us with answers after we kept asking for the manager to get back to us, LYING to us that we would not be charged for now and then CHARGING us only hours later – makes the whole experience with nhow Berlin the worst we've had abroad EVER. We will not return to any of the NH hotels, and I suggest you do the same unless you like strangers sleeping in your room and having access to your belongings.
