One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, the concierge guys Johannes and Richard were lovely and alway eager to help or even just to have a conversation with you and see how our trip was going. Every room is full of character and quirky decoration, we especially loved the 6 different lifts which were different coloured and had seperate music genre playlists playing 24/7. Quiet and relaxing during the week, but lively during the weekend with featured musicians. The breakfast was out of this world, definitely worth paying for the upgrade! The rooms were cleaned daily with shampoo etc. being replaced also and the spa/gym was always quite empty when we went so we enjoyed the place to ourselves. Great location close to train/metro/bus and boat stops so didn't have to walk far if we didn't feel like it. And there is even free guitar and keyboard hire for every room!
After arriving in Berlin we had to source a way of getting to the hotel. A little help from Google maps and we knew what train to catch (Only 20 odd minutes and easy to work out what trains are required!) when we get to check in the staff are uber friendly. We had a young guy check us in. He was friendly and helpful! The hotel is literally a short walk to the train station, bus stops and little food vendors. Alexander Platz is a short journey away too where you can enjoy a variety of museums, Checkpoint Charlie and any other historical monument. Although Berlin wasn't for me (A lot was still under renovation and looked a bit derelict) it was definitely worth a visit. The hotel is what it is, clean, tidy, colourful! Perfect after a days sightseeing!
This is absolutely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in! The staff are so helpful (Katherine in particular really helped us out!) and there's someone on front desk 24hrs. The hotel is so cool and interesting with beautiful views from the bar and some rooms, themed lifts and fun and comfortable rooms. As soon as we got home we booked to go back! It's position is also great being super handy for so many great bars, clubs, transport and a floating swimming pool(!) nearby! I honestly can't recommend it highly enough!
This is a quirky and wonderful hotel. Kind of like if the Hard Rock and the W had a love child. Rooms were great and the service perfect. The concierge in particular was super helpful with recommendations and reservations. Stay here if you are ever in Berlin. We would stay again for sure.
The NHow Berlin Hotel, the moment I walked in until I checked out, all the space is charming in every way. The entire staff reveal a high level of service and is evident all that happens is in a natural way and all the contact is done always with great disposition. My room was singular, perfectly decorated, with a splendid Karim Rashid touch and with a view over the river Spree and the Oberbaumbrücke. The breakfast buffet was extraordinary, extensive choices all beautifully presented plus you could and you can end with a nice cup of coffe outside on the terrace with a stunning view overlooking the river. You could eat outdoors on the patio or indoors , both with the same great. A special thanks to Sandy and her extraordinary good disposition and courtesy. Summing up, fabulous stay.
Unique place where funky meets clean and professional. I stayed there for business and thought it was excellent because the place offered an opportunity to relax, gather thoughts and switch attention away from the formalities of business. Very nice patio outside with a river view. Highly recommended. You don't have to be a music lover to enjoy your stay but it would add to the experience. The rooms are very cool too.
Our room was clean and large enough for 3 adults, with the extra roll-away bed supplied. We loved the theme of the hotel, and the different themes in the elevators were an excellent idea as well. Breakfast had a wide selection and dinner at the restaurant was also wonderful. Hotel is on the river and not a bad place for a drink at the bar. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Only thing we were disappointed about was that on the website it says we could order a keyboard to the room. We rang reception to order one and was told they no longer offered that service. Bit of a shame. The hotel is literally across the road from the Berlin wall and a few blocks from the train station. We walked from the hotel into the city one day, and it was a long walk but doable if you have time and energy.
Probably I'll write the same as previously, but nothing has changed: The hotel is great, friendly and helpful Staff, rooms are not usual, breakfast is great and location from my point of view as well. If you go there in summer, you can have some drinks at the terrace close to river Spree. Definitely worth of visiting..
Well situated directly on the Spree river, next to the Universal office, the hotel even offers you a free electro guitar lending service - just in case you are in the mood to play guitar in your room:) Elevators with different music genres playing inside are fun and a pink room with its piano-shaped TV panel a small sensation:) It's funny to spend time here - doesn't matter if for a business or for a private reason. However, the conference area is less inspiring as the rest of the hotel.
Cool bar and great terrace by the river. Close to underground and tram. Great option to explore South East Berlin for a couple of nights. Had to ask for more toilletries and coffee pods in the room though as they weren'r replenished every day. Other than that, lovely hotel!
