NH Collection Berlin Mitte Friedrichstrasse

The most stunning breakfast spread I have ever seen .

Hotel is well located in Berlin Mitte next to subway station. Solid value. Free Wi-Fi is very slow (0.5 mbps) $10/day for paid Wi-Fi and still slow (2 mbps)

Great location. Close to the U bahn, and S bahn. Also very easy to walk to most major locations from this hotel. Close to restaurants and shopping. There were quite a few homeless people hanging in the streets but never felt unsafe. The beds were hard and the pillows were horrible. The hotel was very nice though. I would stay here again just for the location. The hotel charged 22 euro pp for breakfast. Save your money and go to the Starbucks next door and the McDonalds right across the street.

Location is right in the center of town. We were annoyed that we booked a room with a kitchenette, but the drawers were empty. You need to supply any pots, dishes, or utensils. The towels were nice and big. The concierge was very helpful.

Our room wasn't cleaned and there were huge holes in the towels.

The best location as it was easy to walk to any of the sites, and if not, the S-Bahn, U-bahn and tram are literally outside your door. Plenty of restaurants around to suite anyone's tastes. Staff was friendly and helpful and wifi worked well, which was a plus.

Location is very good Hotel unfortunately needs badly an overhaul, looks and feels old, rooms not nice and not clean, rugs looked dirty and really old. TV is like 20 yeard old even if you are not in the room the whole day makes you feel not comfortable. I moved to the Melia right in the corner and it was anioher level of hotel at almost the same price.

Excellent location. Super convenient to S-Bahn and U-Bahn. Bus to Tegel is close-by. Overall, no major problems. Breakfast at 20 EUR is overpriced....who can eat 20 EUR worth of breakfast? WiFi service is slow...but it is free.

The hotel is no better then other hottels in the same category. The deccoration dull.A weak noise penetrating frome trains outside.

First trip to Berlin. We researched the hotel's location and thought it would be good. It was--easy walking to the sights in Mitte, which was great given that we wanted to see museums and the weather was unusually cold for spring. Easy to pop back in the room. S train and Underground stops right out the door, and market in train station made it easy to pick up grocery items any time. Cab to airport 20 Euros but if you wanted to bus to airport (Tegel) its stop is 4 blocks away. Staff let us have our room @ 9 am, which let us rest after overnight flight (he said that only happens regularly on Sundays). Room big enough to be comfortable. Our view was over train tracks but still quiet enough. Tub/shower had only a half-wall so floor got pretty wet. Didn't use restaurant or room service--plenty of coffee spots all around the area. Fitness room small only treadmill, bikes, and weight machine. Hot tub and sauna nice. Given what we paid we would go back without any misgivings.

Right smack dab in the middle of everything. Walk to Museum Is., Brandenberg Gate and adjacent to the U-bahn station. Romm was fine - no breakfast though and to eat at the hotel was expen$ive!. Wifi worked fine, Room had a stain on the carpet but was certainly acceptible. Staff was helpful but the concierge was often gone. All in all a grewat place to stay.

Absolutely great hotel! Room was crisp clean and spacious. You can have better location: it is on the S station, 5-15 min walk to the major attractions at the downtown. Free internet (there are coupons with the personal code for 24h wi-fi). Any time i visit Berlin from now i'll stay there.

The staff treated us very well. Atmosphere was good. However, I was placed in a smoking room initially (even though I made reservations) and we ran out of wash cloths for consecutive days. How does a major hotel run out of towels?

very quiet place in the middle of Berlin recomended

The hotel is an excellent value, within walking distance of many of the biggest Berlin attractions. The one problem I had was that my room faced Friedrichstrasse, and I had to contend with noise from the tram that stops right outside.
