About 20 mins from each airport nice entrance to hotel nice staff at reception very helpful nice room smoking/non smoking rooms very comfortable bed with t.v. mini bar breakfast very good long times 7am till 10/11 every day plenty of staff about 15 min walk into centre of alexanderplatz or just jump on metro from 100yds down the rd

Absolutely loved this hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff and just 10-15 min walk from Alexanderplatz centre. The breakfast was the best, well worth the extra. Also a lovely park just over the road to relax in, perfect all-in-all for a sightseeing base.

Cleaning staff was very rude and attempted to rush us out of the room once asking us if we're sure the room can't be cleaned at the moment. We were sleeping in bed. Housekeeping hours make absolutely no sense and woke us up on some days. The person staying with me decided they would be including breakfast on the second day of our trip and was not informed of the cost that amounted to 90 euros for four breakfasts (she was charged daily instead of including it on the room). The kitchen was never informed of her breakfast inclusion so *they had to call reception every single morning* which was a drawn out and annoying process. Wifi was horrible, could barely send a message. I have never experienced this hotel wifi quality in my life and would rather pay a roaming bill. Never seen service like this at a four star hotel. Would never stay at an NH Hotel ever again.

Thought the location was perfect to be honest. The Tram system in Berlin is so good (one almost every five minutes) with the stop around 200metres away, it takes five minutes to get to Alexanderplatz and another two minutes to find the amazing Hackescher Market area with all its bars and restaurants. Hotel itself ideal.Staff Excellent and so helpful. Beds really comfortable, nice bar area. Wasn't going to pay the extortionate price for breakfast so can't comment on that but for a place that cost me just €69 a night it was superb.

Not what I expect when I book at NH Hotel. Breakfast overpriced despite an OK selection. Bikes a bit overpriced, rather use one of the shared (e)bike or eScooter concepts and go to the city center for a breakfast for 1/3rd of the price.

The Hotel NH Berlin Alexanderplatz is brilliant in just about every aspect. The rooms are very large by European standards, well appointed, comfortable, with excellent bathrooms, a superb breakfast buffet and a bar with a very respectable wine list. Staff are friendly, helpful and well informed. The only problem is that it's nowhere near Alexanderplatz. It is, in fact 4 stops away by tram or about a 30 minute walk. So, in my view, something of a trade description or misleading advertising problem. But once we were over that surprise and had mastered Berlin's excellent public transport system, we enjoyed our stay there very much. We had a similar problem in Prague, staying at a much less exalted Ibis unit supposedly near Wenceslas Square. Again, nowhere near, so if you're planning a trip to Europe, and exact location is important, it might be worth double-checking.

We stranded in this hotel because Air Berlin could not get us to our home town in time. We expected to get a cheap room somewhere close to the airport and were positively surprised to be accommodated in such a nice hotel. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful got get our boarding passes printed out. She also provided us with free of charge tooth brush, tooth paste and a comb. The room was spacious, impeccably clean and the furniture modern. The bed was very comfortable and there were two different types of pillows to chose from. The bathroom had a tub, soap, shower gel, shampoo and body lotion were provided. The room had kind of a lobby with an extra door to the bed room, so you could not hear the other hotel guests when the pass your room. The breakfast was really great, lots of choices and all very fresh and appetizing. I would like to stay in this hotel again. The only downside of it is the location. We needed to take a tram to Hackesche Höfe to still get something to eat in the evening. Alexanderplatz is closer (15 minutes walk) but it is deserted in the evening.

Well connected by public transport (30 min walk or 3 min tram to S-bahn, regular trams into Alexanderplatz proper and Hakescher Markt) but I found the local amenities a little lacking - couldn't find a pharmacy/convenience store open past 8pm. Just wanted to buy toothpaste, razors and conditioner as hotel didn't provide them. Eventually found a Lidl nearby the next day. Staff were friendly and helpful during check-in and offered to keep my luggage there between check-out and my flight. The only annoying thing was that room service called at 8.15am on the day I checked out when I very clearly had a 'do not disturb' sign on my door. Volkspark Friedrichshain nearby for lovely evening walks.

The hotel itself is ok, but the location is not perfect, it is in the middle of square blocks, 30 min walk to get to a bar or place to drink. It is also quite pricy for value provided. But the striking thing was the person at register who was the most unfriendly person I have ever met. I have booked my hotel via online agent and I didn't get the bill by mail. With checking out When I asked at register that I will need a receipt for my booking the person at the register told that she can't help me since I booked via other agent and that I should have booked directly from hotel and not from other provider and it's not her problem that I didn't get the bill from the agent etc. She was the most impolite person I have ever met who told me that I don't get what she is saying because I have to sort out things with the agent who sold me the hotel and not with her etc. I can understand that she might hot be able to provide me with the bill, but at least she can explain it in polite way and not to be so rude to a customer. So no going back for me to this hotel ever again!
