We stayed in a 'comfort' size room, one of the biggest we've ever had. Certainly not like smaller rooms in Paris or London. Large bed, with crisp white linen, armchairs, writing desk, wardrobe, and a large bathroom with wonderful shower. Generous and varied buffet breakfast overlooking their garden. After touring other parts of Berlin, we were happy to be in this quieter, leafy neighborhood.
Hotel in former east Berlin. Quiet surroundings. Nice staff. Very nice but small spa. Fantastic breakfast, always with new delicasys every day! Only one elevator. Bike rental is possible! Very nice beds with good linnen.
Chose hotel as close to start of half marathon route and it proved an excellent choice. Situated in a quiet street in an interesting neighbourhood it was easy to walk in to the centre of the city. Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet and the selection and quality of the breakfast buffet was excellent. All the staff were really helpful, spoke English and very friendly. Would recommend highly.
Second time staying here and I love it. It feels like a home in Berlin. The room is very comfortable and clean. the staff are lovely and helpful. Breakfast is included and it is good. I had to leave early on my last day, and because i was going to miss breakfast time, they made me a packed breakfast to take. I was lovely.
It's has been a long time since I have stayed in such a lovely hotel The staff are fabulous The rooms are remarkably comfortable and for breakfast the best in Europe!!!! The lady and I mean lady was a delight she was so happy and cheerful All I can say is get the staff over to the uk!!!! We need you!!
We had a lovely double room with a great en-suite shower/towels and toiletries, and the room temperature was bearable, not too hot. The bed was extremely comfortable, single duvets on a double mattress for less duvet snatching... Throughout our stay the staff were friendly, polite and as helpful as they could be; breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and clearly designed for all tastes and preferences, all overseen by friendly staff. The only downside was the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room which seemed to be a bit of a strange omission in this day and age.
I would absolutely recommend staying at the Myers Hotel. It's conveniently situated 2 mins from the tram and 5 mins from a tube. The neighbourhood is great with loads of great bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is lovely, it's clean, the beds are comfy, shower was good and the breakfast selection was great. Also the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Berlin is an amazing city, when we go back we will definitely be staying at the Myers again.
We stayed just one night upon arrival in Germany before an early morning train departure. We were wowed by the comfort of the room and the kind attention of the staff. Breakfast service started at 6:30, early enough for us to eat before catching our train. The service was excellent and the food plentiful at breakfast, we were happy we were able to partake before departing. The room was very clean, spacious, and had two comfortable chairs as well as the desk chair. The decor in our room was very much like a cozy B&B and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice, the shower had a spray and rain shower option, there was a towel warmer, and all the amenities, save hair conditioner, were provided. We had a very good sleep in the comfortable bed. We returned to Berlin after a weekend in Hamburg and stayed in an apartment. However, when our departure was changed due to a weather delay, we opted to return to the Myers Hotel for our additional night in Berlin. Although our arrangements were last minute, we were able to get our same comfortable room and they were able to grant us early check-in. Once again the staff was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately we had to miss breakfast because of our early departure time, but they made sure we had coffee in the morning and prepared food to go for our travel. They arranged airport transportation and a taxi was at the door within minutes of our request. I like staying in an apartment when I am visiting for more than a few days, but we would have been quite comfortable staying here for a longer stay. The M2 was very close and it was just a few stops to Alexanderplatz. The water tower and Kollwitzplatz were a short walk, which gave us loads of local restaurant options. We will definitely stay at the Myers Hotel again.
Just 2 minutes on the M2 tram from Alexanderplatz with access then to all the major sights. You can get tickets for the transport system from the hotel so you don't need change for the ticket machines on the trams. We got the 7 Euro Tageskarte which allowed us unlimited travel on buses, trams and underground all day. Room was lovely. Breakfast included and excellent choice from the buffet. The gentleman on reception in the evenings was very friendly and could not have been more helpful.
We stayed at the Myers hotel for just under a week at the end of November. The hotel is well worth booking. The room is a very nicely size with lovely furnishings. The breakfast is excellent and the staff very friendly. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the centre which was fine. Berlin itself is a great city to visit.
