Ok for the money the room was ok. It was warm and the bathroom was clean and tidy. Free wifi that is good. But bedroom was at front of hotel and was very noisy due to the busy traffic outside and trams. Breakfast was very pricey at 18 euros and to be honest I couldn't eat much if it due to being gluten and dairy free so had very little for that hefty price. It's also a bit of a walk from the main train station there.

The hotel is good, but leaves something to be desired for a four star, the location, although it is close to central station is far from the main attractions of the city. The rooms are small and the prices are high. The breakfast is good, but expensive.

The room was very nice and clean, it had great amenities. The hotel is in a great location. We had a good nights rest! However, one member of staff in particular made our stay slightly uncomfortable. The main revolving doors were locked over the christmas period due to safety reasons. Due to this, guests were asked to ring the bell in order to be let in. A young lady working the evening shift seemed extremely bothered when we returned to the hotel on only two occasions. She made it seem like we were interrupting and even ignored us when we arrived after dinner the second time. She was also unhelpful and uninterested with our queries about Berlin. We have already put in a complaint about this particular staff member but did not receive a response. Other than that, the other staff members were friendly and welcoming.

Having carried out extensive research I settled on this hotel largely based on it's location and ease of accessibility to the Brandenburg Gate for New Year's Eve. I am pleased to be able to say that my research paid off and the hotel is ideal for getting to both this landmark and the rest of Berlin. There is easy access to the Metro and U-Bahn as well as being walking distance from many great restaurants and bars. The hotel itself was very impressive and I was delighted to be able to check-in early on arrival, meaning I could unpack and get some sleep before celebrating NYE. This made all the difference to the trip, ensuring it got off to a positive start. The room was comfortable and had an excellent shower - something I have come to not take for granted when travelling. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming and regularly advised me on travel as well as booking taxis when they were needed. The bar was well-stocked and well-priced and made for a good place to start and/or end each night! If I was visiting Berlin again I would not look past this hotel, it is highly recommended.

The hotel was in a ideal position for the event I was attending. The hotel is a 10/15 minutes walk away from Berlin Central Train Station. You can get a tram that stops off right outside the hotel for a few euros. I was travelling alone so the room was very spacious for me, though I was out and about a fair bit during the day but the room was good and the facilities were also good. I never had breakfast in the hotel but had dinner one night which was reasonable. If you attend reception you can purchase a public transport ticket for 24 hours which will allow you to use the tram and buses. There are adequate number of bars nearby to have food and drink. A two minute walk round the corner you can get a tram down to Alexanderplatz which will take about 5 minutes. From there you can walk for about 30-45 minutes (depending on your pace) down to Brandenburg Gate, passed the DDR museum, the public library etc. Only complaint might be is where my room was in the hotel the wifi signal was a bit irratic.

Stayed here leading a tour of 25 people from Ghana. The hotel rroms are rather small for a 4 star hotel albeit everythjng needed is neatly arranged for one's convenience. The interior of the lobby isbevry beahfuful and addds to the genrafl aesthetics that is jf yiu ade into that. My minuses for the hotel were just 2. 1. The internet was constantly fluctuating and generally slow. 2. The receptionist (SARAH EL HUSSEIN) was saucy, cheesy and plain rude-More often than not answering questions unwilling and with a smirk kook. She needs to bd talked tk and given further training on how to behave professionally and also dealing with the different sets of people. Niko and Bernadini were superb. Regardless i would recommend still, the hotel

The location is great and the rooms are large but everything else is not up to the standards you’d expect from a Mercure hotel. We are now at the hotel and WiFi is not working in our corner room, only in the hallway or by the room door. Front desk attendant was kind but not helpful - two complaints were made and nothing changed. Housekeeping is terrible: towels were left on the floor to be replaced and we found them exactly where we left them, untouched, and no towels were put in the closet to replace those. The garbage bin was not cleaned up. Another disappointment was that we paid for a room for three people but the third bed seems to be improvised since it’s super uncomfortable. The shower is also an issue: the water gets super hot or cold out of a sudden and the shower curtain is damaged as well. Would not recommend this hotel, even if it has a lot of potential.

1. In spite of numerous complaints, Coffee machine which was not working wasn't replaced or repaired for 6 days. 2. Used bath and hand towels were not replaced. I put the used towels on the carpet, so that the housekeeping knows they need to be replaced. But the same ones were put up again on the bathroom rod. 3. Used coffee cups/spoons/saucers/kettle were not cleared during daily housekeeping routines. 4. Arrogant behavior from the reception girl not once but 2-3 times. When I asked the reception girl(Anna Pini) if house keeping is expected to clear the used cups, to which to my surprise she replied "I don't know". I tried asking in a different way, to which she replied - "I just said to you I dont know and I will ask the housekeeping tomorrow" in an extreme rude manner. 5. The key card keeps getting disabled, twice in a day. So this hotel is a NO NO. I booked this for 10 days and thought of changing but also thought maybe I should give them a chance. But I am disappointed and have informed company about my bad experience. EXCEPT for the restaurant lady. She was really nice!

We visited this hotel last weekend and we were delighted with it . The staff are so helpful and knowledgeable . The room was spotless and the breakfast was very good. It's near the tram stop and underground . Great find. Would highly recommend it.

We stayed here for a weekend trip to Berlin. It's in a good central location, so it was really easy to get around. The rooms were clean, tidy, and had everything we needed! Good place to stay for a weekender!
