I loved the room and especially the bed, which was so comfy and beautiful. Bathroom was really small, but water pressure was superb. Be careful with the shower curtain or you float the bathroom. Breakfast was not a buffet, but you had to order one of the "combos". I chose Balkan omelett and it was fantastic. Service was very nice. The coffee was a bit too weak for my taste. Parking lots can be found just before the hotel in the street.

Just back from a 3 day stay in this hotel. The staff were lovely and friendly. A special mention for Jan who we were lucky enough to meet at the desk when checking in. He is the friendliest and most helpful receptionist we have ever encountered. Jumah and all his bar staff also deserve a special mention. Our room was very small but lovely and bright and adequate for a short stay. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of egg based options on the menu. The location is a bit out from the city centre but there is a U station a short walk away. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in the locality.

Fabulous boutique type hotel in a good neighbourhood location close to many sights; a short subway ride. Lots of places to eat in the area and lots of shops and services including a laundromat (super clean!) just down the block. Breakfast included and what a breakfast it is! There is a varied menu to choose from that is fantastic. One note of caution (passed on to us at check-in but not to friends when they checked in) have breakfast by 9:00 or you will be waiting in line. The restaurant is open to the public and is extremely popular and they do not make concessions for hotel guests. I would highly recommend.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The location is very good and the room was very spacious. Very good breakfast! The only problem is that the hotel does not have separte beds. I mean that you can not get 2 single beds Only double bed. If you are not a couple you can ask for an extra opened sofa that can become a bed. It is pretty comfortable but i would prefer 2 single beds for 2 adults.

We booked well in advance 3 rooms for a business travel, especially for the good price and location. The hotel was much better than expected, a sort of combination between family-run and boutique hotel - everything is good quality and the staff was very helpful and kind. The a-la-carte breakfast is really nice, a bit time-consuming though, when you need to rush somewhere in the morning.

Lovely hotel very quirky. Clean very friendly staff, food excellent, highly recommend, great position for getting around and near to plenty of shops and restaurants. Weekend with my sister great location once we had our bearings, near shops and restaurants, amazing breakfast. Metro system easy to follow very cheap easy to get round such a large city.

from check in to departure nothing but comfort and help from pleasant and brilliant staff ( a special mention for Martin on reception) , the rooms are wonderfully quirky and comfortable, would stay here again at any time and would advise anyone else to stay, one thing if you don,t like eggs don,t have breakfast.

Really great atmosphere around the hotel, the decoration is cool and funky and the staff are amazingly helpful. The room was really comfortable and decorated very stylishly. Breakfast is incredible so it can get busy in the morning but we never waited more than 10 minutes to be seated so not so bad at all. The local area is fun and has good links to underground etc and there is plenty of places to eat nearby. Also the bakery inside the hotel is definitely worth a look if you have a sweet tooth.

I was in Berlin with my girlfriend for a course so we choose the Hotel due to proximity to the course venue! It was really a treat! The hotel has this cool funky vibe to it, the decoration is extravagant and extraordinary and the rooms are gorgeous!! Not suitable for families or for people who seek a relaxing weekend as it is very very loud!!! The only serious flaw to this hotel is their breakfast/restaurant! There is one restaurant which is also available to the public! Because of this reason there is a waiting list in the morning (!!) in order to sit down and order breakfast which for the hotel guests is not very attractive! On top of that despite the fact that everyone is extremely nice the service is also extremely slow!! There seems to be a problem with organisation i believe! There's definitely room for improvement!

Negatives No bath - no big deal Small rooms but to be expected No Aircon but the fan was fine. Breakfast was busy - more on this! Positives Location Comfy bed Funky bedroom with a basketball hoop. Young vibrant staff and hotel - I was one of the older (age 42) guests but really enjoyed the vibe and various nationalities all mixing. Breakfast - well we were warned it gets busy at 9 am (and only free for guests till 11 - 4E surcharge after) So on the first day we went down at 0855 - and no Q, great food - but a bit too much for 9 am. so second day - went down at 1030 - got seated at about 11 - no drama - and no surcharge as we were there before 11. unlimited hot drinks. great eggs benedict, pancakes, french toast, freshly baked brioche or other rolls! if you are a late riser a late brunch makes for a very very relaxing holiday and easy morning. Pool table, bakery on site, great coffee, friendly service good price, good location in West Berlin. We will be back.
