Looking for a spot which allowing to get around the vibrant city of Berlin we selected the Lindner Hotel Am Ku'damm. Since we have been to Berlin several times and stayed at various hotels there the Lindner was so far the best choice we made. The hotel has been recently renovated and the rooms off good space and comfort. To my taste mattresses were on the edge of being to soft, but that is of course only a sole personal feeling. We had a business room for two which came with a balcony. It turned out to be a great advantage that the room was located on the 6th floor and that the windows actually pointed into a side street from Ku'damm. The noise from the street was significantly reduced by that and allowed us to sleep with open windows at night, which we prefer over air-conditioned rooms. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety and choice, but not so much for people that may have allergies like gluten. The downside is the price that is asked for breakfast, which is currently 17.-€. An amount one will hardly eat up for breakfast. The rooms were clean and offered separate bath (including a spacious shower) and toilet. The hotel does not have a sauna or gym of its own, but guests are eligible to access the sauna and gym in the building next doors. The hotel reception offers towels and bathrobes upon request. So when coming to Berlin the next time and having business mainly in the western part, the Lindner is a spot we will revisit.
I visit Berlin a lot off time ... and. I was in deffrent hotels with 3and4 stars .. but this hotel was the best in my staying .. very clean and modern .. very quiet.. and very good service.. very good staff .. they are very helpful all times... The big problem was the price of rooms... as examples.. for the same room was the price am Beginning 79 Euro... after two days 95 Euro..after 4 days 161 Euro ... they said this is Berlin...?? The place of hotel is very good .. it is in th center of Berlin... I like it too much.. with my thankful for staff..
Location! Location! Location! Right outside the Kurfursterdamm U-bahn station and within a 3-minute walk to the Zoologischer S+U Bahn station. You can also catch the X9 express bus to Tegel at the Zoologischer station, making this hotel ideal for a short stay in Berlin with easy access to public transit. Rooms are typical European style, meaning small and efficient. I opted for the double room even though I was traveling alone because the single room is too small for my liking. Rooms are clean and well-kept. A great feature is a free minibar if you forego room cleaning for two nights. Great deal if you do not need your room cleaned every day. Wifi is included in your room rate and it was fast. Service was stellar. The front desk staff helped with directions and promptly called taxis when I needed one. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Berlin.
Stayed here for a business trip. The location is outstanding and a 30 seconds walk to my office. The rooms are spacious as is the bathroom. The breakfast has a good selection of made to order eggs, breakfast meats et al. However, the front-desk is very inconsistent. On my day of checkout as my meetings were scheduled a day before to end early, and I had a late night overseas flight, I had asked for a late checkout. I was told that the place was sold out and this could not happen. The next day I mentioned it again when checking out during breakfast and was given the same room for 75% of the room rate. Go figure. That day I came down and asked for a cab to the Tegel airport. Nothing showed up for 15 mins and as the person behind the frontdesk was losing her smile I just walked out and got a cab. So the front desk can be very helpful, friendly and accommodating or they can just be very non-responsive. Depends on how is manning it.
This is a good quality hotel in the west of Berlin. It sits near offices and shops on the Kurfuerstendamm - Berlin's Apple store is just around the corner. The room was a business class double room; clean with quiet air conditioning (unusual in a hotel and necessary as it was hot in Berlin). I cannot fault the staff for being helpful as they were happy to advise how to get around Berlin. They also sell public transport tickets in the hotel. The breakfast was typical continental although had bacon and scrambled eggs plus curried sausage. The hotel is well maintained. I am told by colleagues that this is 4 star hotel for the price of a 2 star.
The room is extremely small, bathroom with no proper closure and perfectly exposed without closing the drapes. No restaurant and no possibility of ordering from the room. The breakfast was 5 points, very few options to choose.
So I stayed in this hotel during my business trip. So the hotel was good, the staff was so kind and open, the breakfast was really amazing: fresh and there were a lot of choice. The room was clean, and spacious. Also you have an excess to the gym which os located in 2 steps from the hotel. I do recommend you this hotel!!!
We were a group of 7 men in our best ages (late 60), who reilly enjoyed staying at this hotel. Rooms were nice and clean, and short way to restaurants and bier-stuben. Very easy and central to get to other parts of Berlin. Perfect.
Last week, we spent 4 nights in Berlin, entirely for leisure. The hotel is conveniently located on a main thoroughfare, close for shops and all public transport. There is no noise from the busy road or from other guests. The room was spacious with both a bath and a walk in shower, free wifi. Breakfast was plentiful. A very pleasant stay!
The first stop of sightseeing buses are just opposite of the hotel. Also metro station and bus stop is again there. If you will travel around the city you can be sure that hotel has very good location. Nice staff. We didn't have breakfast so no idea about meals but there are ao many cafes, pubs and restraunts around. Breakfast is for 17€ per person and you can find (all you can eat) brunch for this pricea and also it's cheaper to have a breakfast at the cafes around.
