Stayed here for 3 nights in April 2017. The hotel was very clean and close to the train station with easy access to local shops, bars and restaurants. It was very reasonably priced and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap weekend city break.
Lovely hotel. Really conveniently located. Lots to do in the area and everything easily accessible! Staff helpful and some really nice touches in reception like water and apples Thin walls though- could hear a little too much from next door :-/
I traveled to Berlin to attend ITB Travel show. Needed a hotel near the exhibition center. Just short drive by taxi which is convenient or 2 stations by underground. The hotel is modern and stylish - but rooms are small and the bath room is actually super small. Bed comfy, internet works good. Front desk and concierge very helpful. The best feature I found was the breakfast - I loved it. Location also very good. Many inexpensive dining places is short walking distance and also lots of good shopping. I loved the location. Wish the rooms and bathroom would be bigger. Otherwise a good and well operated hotel.
The Leonardo is conveniently located. It mainly caters for large tour groups that arrive in busses. Staff are very helpful and the place is clean. However, considering the price the rooms are way too small
This hotel was selected as an over night stop for a early flight the next morning. A modern hotel which was ideal for my requirements I would recommend it to my friends the staff were helpful the room clean breakfast first class.
This hotel is as good it gets for a 3 star. We upgraded to a junior suite which provided somewhat more space than the usual rooms. Location next to subway is very convenient. Extensive breakfast choices. Friendly service. Close to Deutsche Oper.
We arrived at the hotel at around 11pm and checked in. The room we got stank of cigarettes, even the bed sheets, even though we have specifically asked for a non smoking room. At the reception we were told the hotel is fully booked except for one room on the first floor, but we could only stay there for one night and we'll have to change it again in the morning. We decided to change the room because the smell was unbearable. the next morning we packed our stuff and went down to the reception as we were told, but now the shifts have changed, there were other workers at the reception and they had no clue about the case!! Eventually they told us we don't need to change the room, made a small apology about the inconveniences they have caused and sent us on our way. Even though, after all the room was O.K, there are several supermarkets in the neighborhood, train station is within 3 minutes walk and breakfast at the hotel is nice though expensive.
I was really mad because they didn't received me a $500 euro bill. The doors close too hard and you can't sleep because they made a lot of noise. The breakfast was good, not the best. The location was little far from popular places in Berlin if you are a tourist. If you want to stay in this hotel and you are a tourist, I would recommend you to take the 109 bus one block away from the hotel. It would take you to S+U Zoologischer Gartner, and then, you can take the 100 and 200 buses. These 3 buses made a tourist cycle around all the main attactions.
The Leonardo is conveniently located. It caters mainly for bus tours so there are times when using facilities is restricted by the masses. The place is tidy and features modern design but also long and narrow corridors to get to your room. Front desk staff are not particularly friendly and breakfast is too expensive for what it is. Most of all, the rooms are simply too small for the price.
Good clean hotel, very good value for money. Only seconds from U-Bahn station, plenty of places to eat/drink in local vicinity, was even lucky with the weather. Only complaint was a single member of hotel staff who seemed to struggle to smile when spoken to
