Nice and cozy hotel not faraway from city center. To reach city center is needed bus or taxi, but to go to shopping malls like KaDeWe takes only 15min by walk. Rooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast is delicious and fresh.
I couldn't be happier with my stay at the Ku'Damm 101. I arrived extremely fatigued and jet-lagged. I was able to check in an hour early. Leonid at the front desk was especially helpful. The hotel is perfectly situated right off the Ku'damm. Lots of restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity. VERY quiet, and VERY clean. The breakfast the next morning was exactly what this weary traveler needed and, again, that morning, Leonid was at the desk, and helped with directions to my next destination down the street (an Air BnB apartment). For those wondering - the taxi fare from Tegel to the hotel was 19.80 Euros. I added a 10% tip. It took about 15 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport. I would definitely stay here again.
We liked this hotel. Our room and bathroom were extraordinarily spacious by our standards. The makeup mirror and magnifying mirror were very welcome indeed. Plenty of good restaurants in walking distance and a great bar just across the road.
Stayed for 2 nights In this Lovely hotel, there were good, clean spacious rooms. The only issue we could find wine rooms was there was no tea/ coffee making facilities. The pillows were not that comfortable but found the hotel offered a pillow menu. There was a bus stop just outside & along a main shopping street making it easy to get around the city. Overall a pleasant stay.
The rooms are huge and beautifully designed. I stayed there during the business trip and it was highly productive for me because the rooms are really clean, big, with a lot of light. Breakfast was good, a lot of healthy options (I'm a vegetarian so there was really a lot of different food for me). The only thing I would change are the pillows, they are too small and too soft.
I will say, nice hotel. Inside the city, close to airport(if you are driving). Very easy public transportation. Cooperative staff, most of them. Wonderful breakfast. Only thing I didn't liked that the lady came to my table to sign a paper when I was eating. (They will check you in when you enter in the breakfast room. She completed that process but again, she came back to get my signature when I was eating!!) It was weird!! I should give one start due to that but again rest of all favor 4 starts. One person's behavior makes lots of difference.
Basic yet comfortable accommodation. The room was clean and the bed was cozy. Elevators were fast and not busy. There were only body wash and no shampoo or conditioner. Not enough power outlets. Overall impression was very good.
Nice modern hotel,we stayed a week and the room was cleaned every day, we did miss not having tea and coffee facilities in the room which is a shame.Breakfast was included with the room. There was good selection of cold and cooked to choose from coffee abit cold. The internet was ok. Very close to all public transport. We would go back again.
Even their website claims at one point that they are 4*, and its down to three when they described their single rooms. Location is good along the more quiet part of the Kurfuerstendamm. Rooms are small and boxy, a bit like an Ibis hotel. No fridge or coffee making faclityy. No body lotion. The room had a rather bare feel to it. Pillows paperthin. Breakfast was great as always in Germany. Staff friend and efficient. I would say it's a 3.5* hotel.
a very nice modern hotel with big rooms but with the most terrible beds i have ever slept in. You sleep on a thin mattress on a wooden board. both off us had back age every morning and slept very short. The rest is fine in the hotel but the beds have to change
