Conveniently located near Ostbahnhof train station, in fact you can enter the hotel from the train station. There are quite a few choices for breakfast in the train station and also a supermarket and a restaurant. The hotel is very clean and quiet. Our room was basic, size was OK and the bed comfortable. A flat TV and a small refrigerator/minibar make your stay more pleasant. The bathroom was nice but no other toiletries than liquid soap. The towels were kind of thin and worn out and strange, only 3 towels (one large and 2 small) for a double room accommodating 2 persons. The hotel overlooks the East Side Gallery, one of the remaining sections of the Berlin Wall. A pass for public transport is included in the room rate, huge advantage in a city as large as Berlin. All together, a good value for the money paid.
