The hotel was very centrally located, clean (indeed it was being decorated whilst we were there) and warm. The staff were very welcoming to children and we received a welcome bag of juice/water a chocolate on arrival. We arrived in the city early and wanted to leave out luggage until check in time. The receptionist informed us our room was ready and we were welcomed to check in early and go to our room. We were especially grateful after an early start with our flight to be able to have a good rest in our room. Would definitely stay here again. The hotel was quiet and the breakfast was very good too.
This hotel is very centrally located, only few minutes by walk from Alexanderplatz. The special benefit of this hotel is that they offer family room (4 single beds) where the children do not have to pay for accomodation. Our room was nice and the breakfast was good. It was important for us that this hotel offers the possibility of parking (12 EUR per night) as all around hotel there were parking places with much higher parking rate. I would surely recommend this hotel especially for families exploring Berlin.
I was staying there from 1.10.17 untill 5.10.17 and enjoyed every moment. The service was very good, the workers are very kind, the room is big and clean. The location is perfect. And the breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend
Is very centrally located close to Alexanderplatz, ( 2 minutes walk). The metro , restaurants, shops are very close by as is the TV tower. All the other attractions like the museum island, Berliner Dom( Berlin cathedral) are just a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is unremarkable. Rooms are ok, breakfast is mediocre. There is no proper concierge who can guide you properly. The staff are quite indifferent. The only incentive to stay at this hotel is its location . There are better hotels nearby at almost the same rate.
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights - it is very close to Alexanderplatz and only a few minutes walk to the main shopping district and tourist attractions. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and were happy to provide tourist information as well as train times to the airport or answer any questions we had - believe me, when you're from Northern Ireland and tend to speak quickly our accents can be hard to understand abroad so the fact that you don't feel rushed or hassled to be understood is an unbelievable relief! The room was lovely - quirky decoration but we love that. It was quite hot when we were here (27/28 degrees) so the air conditioned room was fantastic. Everything was very clean and comfortable and although it was a small room that really didn't bother us as we knew we wouldn't be spending any time there at all apart from sleeping! Breakfast was served between 6.30-10.30am (we stayed during the week so times may be different at weekends) and consisted of croissants, bagels, juices, smoothies as well as cold meats, eggs and cheeses, tea and coffee etc. There was plenty of choice to set you up for the day. We honestly couldn't fault this hotel in any way as it served our needs and wishes perfectly - it is a three-star hotel and is therefore functional, comfortable and a fantastic place to stay if you are happy with a very clean comfortable room to have as a central base to spend your time exploring Berlin. It is very close to all the major bus, tram, train and u-Bahn routes too. We absolutely loved it and when we go back to Berlin we will book here again.
We checked in late in the evening, and found the room well prepared with are request for extra bed already taken care of. The hotel was close to the centre of Alexanderplatz, and easily accessible by train, tram and city tour buses. The hotel staff arranged for the tour ticket as well. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel has free access to the computer and printer also which was a bonus. Its located in a quite street, we had a good nights sleep before our exploration of the green German capital. highly recommended for budget travelers.
I was expecting more from this Hotel as I have stayed in Ibis Buget already. The best thing was the space of the room and the hotel's great location, with tram underground and train conections within 5 minutes walk. The breakfast was below expectations but ok.
The hotel location is ideal for Eurail travelers. From Berlin Central Station to Alexanderplatz is just a few stop on the S-Bahn station at Alexanderplatz and then a five or six minutes walk to the hotel. And, the S-Bahn ride is covered by your Eurail Pass. Location is everything when you are carrying a backpack so the location of this ibis hotel is great. Alex is a hub of activities and a nice place to hang out. The staff when out of their way to be helpful to me. I always stay here on my trips.
Overall nothing to complain about this is a budget hotel and the room we stayed in was perfectly clean and kept clean by staff everyday. No Teas and coffee in rooms but available downstairs if required. Breakfast is continental but there is a well laid out table where you just help yourself. Ideal location for trams, S-Bahn and U-Bahn as well as fast trains DB from Schonefield airport only 40 mins away. Good for on going transport to the city centre and main attractions. Ideal base for trip to Berlin
Something what you'd expect for a 3 star budget hotel: Small rooms and affordable price seen in things like bathroom selection of one general soap and average bed. Then again, service, rooms, breakfast, wifi – the basics have been done right, and the hotel delivers enough that there's nothing to complain. And the location is very handy, a few hundred meters from Alexanderplatz.
