It was an ok stay. Rooms a bit tacky but clean. The shower was good when it worked! 2nd day and the shower was cold! After complaining to the receptionist I got this response: it's nobody in anymore but I'll make a report. Didn't help me having a shower though! My room was quite spacious and I had a double bed; my sister's room had a single bed with a width of only 70cm! Her room was like a broom cabinet! Breakfast was acceptable, but the bread was not fresh on the 2nd day! There were no coffee-making facilities in the rooms, as was advertised! Disappointing! The best thing was the location - just around the corner of Ku'damm. We only stayed 2 nights, would not book it for longer. Sorry to say.

Convenient to the U-bahn. spacious room and bathroom, breakfast included. Might have been a bit dusty because my allergies were set off but it was clean overall. Great bakery on the corner when you exit left toward the U-bahn and cross the street.

Me and my sister had an OK few nights here, but for the price, I will be booking elsewhere for my future stays. The hotel is old and has a nice charm, but both the provided WiFi and service in the area (at least T-Mobile) were unusable. Additionally the shower would constantly change between ice cold and scalding. One nice touch was the breakfast buffet. It was easy and there were lots of options.

This hotel is located conveniently with good connections to city centre and the U-Bahn station just a short walk away. The breakfast options were good and healthy as well. However, I had a horrible experience with the evening receptionist. After storing my luggage at the hotel, I realized upon returning that I had forgotten two of my jackets in my room. I assumed they would be returned to me as the day receptionist was aware I would be coming back. Unfortunately, the evening receptionist spoke no English and literally YELLED at me, saying she couldn't handle my issue and told me to return the next morning. As a tourist leaving Berlin that night, this was not even possible for me. Eventually, the issue was resolved because the rude receptionist contacted the helpful day receptionist, who was aware of my situation. While the hotel has its positive aspects, this incident left a very negative impression due to the extreme rudeness and unprofessional behavior of the evening staff. Bottom line: You get what you pay for, but be aware of the reception service!

All you need at a Great price

Convenient location between 2 underground stations. Spacious twin bedded room with toilet and shower in a clean , modern and spacious bathroom. Very good breakfast with juice, hot drinks, cereals, meats, cheese, fruits, yoghurts, various breads and toaster , jams and honey, all on help yourself buffet. All at a very reasonable price. Would definitely book again.

A nice, friendly place to stay in West Berlin!

I liked it. The room was spacious and the shower was great. The breakfasy buffet was simple, but tasty. Location is great, very close to the U-bahn and a 15 minute walk to Charlottenburg S-bahn. For the price, it was great.

worst hotel experience— someone entered my room

this place was absolutely run down and disgusting from the jump but i knew what i paid for and was trying to make the best of it. i arrived in the early evening and left to see the city. when i came back at midnight the power on my floor and in my room was completely out. from the elevator to my room was pitch black. i was unable to contact ANYONE from the hotel at all until 7am the cook came in but WOULD NOT CALL ANYONE TO TELL THEM MY POWER WAS OUT. the rest of the staff comes in at 10am. they had planned that day(after my power had already been out for 10 hours) to turn the power off, so an electrition was on sight. randomly in the afternoon i am sleeping and the electritian just enters my room with out knocking. i am shouting to him that he cannot enter but he continued coming laughing. i am undressed in my bed and this man is laughing at me entering my room. they tried to not refund me my money because they told me it is impossible that the power was out all night. the shared toilet did not flush. there was mold in the room fridge. and the men running this place were absolutely horrible and even tried to tell hotels.com i was lying. this place was an absolute nightmare and should not be in service.
