Nice hotel + great breakfast... but no USB!
This was my second stay at the Riu... it's always very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff are also incredibly helpful. A highlight is the breakfast which is superb, and HUGE... one of the best I have had at a hotel in Berlin. The only little thing that let it down, and in this day and age this is a big one; there are no USB power sockets in the room... I was travelling with a friend who was especially shocked by this as he's so used to them in every hotel he goes to so never travels with adapters and reception was unable to offer an adapter. Also, bizarre things like there is no coffee and tea, you have to go to the ground floor to get it (And then there is not much of a choice). They might be small but they make a stay more pleasurable and stress-free.
