Ein eher einfach gehaltenes Hotel in schöner Lage aber nicht deswegen nicht schlecht. Zimmer war sehr geräumig und bot alles was man für eine oder auch mehrere Nächte braucht. Service beim Einchecken war sehr nett. Restaurant ist ok. Frühstücksleistung war passend.

Dit is de derde keer dat ik hier was en helaas ook de slechtste. De vorige keren had ik kennelijk geluk met de kamer (groot, met tweepersoonsbed en een zithoek), dit keer was het een kamer die qua comfort en uitstraling in de DDR was blijven hangen. Het hotel zelf is erg leuk en rustig gelegen in en groene omgeving, maar toch ben je (relatief) snel in de drukte van Berlijn. Tip bij het boeken: neem in geen geval een kamer met een éénpersoonsbed of twin bedden, want dan word je weggestopt in een sfeerloos hok, dat zijn geld absoluut niet waard is. Een Doppelbettzimmer of familiekamer zijn weliswaar duurder, maar bieden wel waar voor je geld.

Hyggeligt beliggende

Hyggeligt beliggende hotel med udsigt til vand. Tæt på slusen. Dejligt værelse, gode senge, fantastisk morgenmad. Bortset fra, at det var virkeligt irriterende, at der ikke fandtes en ekstra nøgle til værelset, da vi på et tidspunkt havde brug for sådan en (vi havde kun fået udleveret en nøgle), kan vi kun sige godt om dette overnatningssted.

Als je een hotel zoekt in de buurt van Berlijn, maar met de rust van een gemoedelijk dorp, dan zit je hier goed. Het duurt even (lees: ruim een uur) voor je in het centrum van Berlijn bent, maar de OV-reis start op één minuut lopen van het hotel in een superleuke tram, hetgeen een attractie op zich is en je het gevoel geeft zestig jaar (zo oud is de tram namelijk) terug in de tijd te gaan. Eén overstap op de S-Bahn brengt je zo naar de Alexanderplatz. Het hotel zelf is spotgoedkoop voor wat je krijgt (een ruime, nette, rustige kamer en een heerlijk ontbijt) en je kunt je auto veilig op het eigen parkeerterrein kwijt. Let wel op dat je vóór 19.00 uur parkeert, anders is het vol en moet je drie straten verderop staan (wat prima, ruim en veilig kan, maar wel onhandig is).
