Comfortable place near the hospital

The hotel is great for a comfortable place to stay near the hospital. My friend was in the hospital for a week and we are not from Germany as we were traveling through. I needed to find a place quickly and this was great, Comfortable rooms and nice breakfast. Also a 10 minute walk to the hospital and S transportation that will get you anywhere you need to go around Berlin.

Recent trip

On arrival there were difficulties with payment, so I would advise to take cash. I was on the 3rd floor- 6 flights of stairs with no lift and a heavy suitcase to take on my own wasn’t ideal. The room had a roof light in the bedroom and bathroom but no blind/curtain to block out the light. The bedside lamps didn’t work. The duvet was a strip down the centre of the bed and did not cover the bed itself. Hosts were friendly and taxis ordered was easy. Location wasn’t ideal as a lone traveller, especially at night. Very noisy with groups hanging around. Would not have felt comfortable going out at night.

The Queenspark is well situated and in a nice neighborhood in the Charlottenburg area. The room was just right for an overnight stay. The front desk was professional but not very personable.

Not wonderful, but good enough for my taste.

The hotel is in an excellent location if you're arriving and/or leaving by bus. It's within a kilometer of the ZOB, and all it takes is a straight walk up and down the road to reach the hotel and vice versa. I walked both ways easily with a suitcase of about 15 kg. The city centre is also easily accessible thanks to the Kaiserdamm subway station, and the street with the same name also has plenty of eateries. There is also a fairly large grocery store within a few minutes of the hotel on foot. The entrance of the hotel is built in a strange way though, and you have to draw a big U to reach the reception on foot, as though you were driving. The front desk girl was quite helpful with places to see, and she lent me a bottle opener for my night beer when she didn't have to. They also sell beer and water at the front desk. The breakfast was more than satisfactory, in fact one of the most memorable hotel breakfasts I've ever had. I'm really surprised to see some people have expressed displeasure about the food in this hotel. I just don't see what's wrong with it. The hotel is set up with a British theme, which took me by surprise, considering it's Germany. The hallways and the room were clean and quiet. The room was kind of small, but of acceptable size for a single person or a couple on a budget. My only major issue with this hotel is the internet. It worked flawlessly during my first day, but it got messy in the evening on my second day.

Rough hotel!!

Given room on ground floor in second building, windows had been left wide open and room was full of mosquitoes. Party I was with had a spare room so switched to that. Second room wasn't much better, with window hanging off the hinge and wouldn't close, and dark hair left on the pillow of the single bed.

Functional hotel, good value for money

It was (again) a quiet stay with adequate comfort and really good value for money. This was my second stay, and they have now progressed with the renovation of the rooms. Rooms are functional, the service is good. Breakfast is good.

Absolutely worth the money

- and might soon even be better. It was functional, clean, the location was good, the only disadvantage was that the room smelled of smoking. However, it was a quiet neighbourhood and by leaving the window open the smell got better. And one point: they are currently renovating the building, therefore the rooms will even be better soon! The breakfast was good,too.

It was pathetic stay. No lifts or elevators. I had to lift my heavy luggage and climb stairs. No one to assist. Broken bathroom doors no eateries around no room service. Just a bedspace. No soap or paste. Gates closed around 10 pm.

Das einzige, was an dem Hotel passt, ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Zimmer ist sauber und das Bad zweckmäßig, es wurde auch jeden Tag aufgeräumt. Ansonsten ist das Hotel sehr laut, es gibt überhaupt keinen Lärmschutz; außerdem ist der Gardinenstoff am Fenster zu kurz und viel zu durchsichtig, so dass das Licht, was draußen die ganze Zeit an ist, das Zimmer immer hell hielt. Ich werde dort nicht wieder eine Nacht verbringen.
