The hotel was a great place to stay. The location was incredible - easy walk to a main u and s station and just one stop from many main attractions. It was very clean and the staff was all friendly. Only downside is that the bathrooms were small and gave the feel of a cruise ship the way they were setup.
A great price for a great location. Hotel was nice and clean, very simple. My only surprise was I thought breakfast was included and I was charged 15 Euro for it upon checking out. I should have looked into that beforehand though. Overall I would highly recommend if you are looking for a good room in a great location at a great price.
This clean, well presented budget hotel, is very well placed for the sights of Berlin. True the reception is across the road and we thought the breakfast was over priced at 25 euros for 2. But the room was basic but fine and clean, the free WIFI worked fine and in all we thought it was a great place to stay, if you did not wish to spend a fortune. The local restaurants had a much better range of meal options than the hotel (and FAR cheaper) and was a very short distance. I would advise travellers to use the many places in the train station at the end of the street for breakfast as they are all cooking fresh items and at less than 10 euros for 2 persons, bargain. Hotel is very easy to get to from the airports using the S Bahn and tickets are 3.40 euros (each, one way) the hotel is 100m from the station.
Fine place to stay for an overnight visit, flying in late one night and departing the next morning. Quite minimalist, but nothing to object to for an overnight stay. Breakfast had a good variety on offer too.
We have just come back from a 3 night stay here. I would say the hotel is basic but clean! The location is fab, really close to a major station for travel and has a few bars and restaurants around it! Great pub called the Berliner republic at the bottom on the street and next to that a great German traditional restaurant that we ate in. Loved our stay in Berlin! Would deffo recommend.
Great location and beside train station. Staff very nice on reception. Bathrooms are small and like an airplane toilet! Wifi very poor, l did speed test and only getting under 1 mb 😮 there was building renovation going on and we were woken up at 8am by hammering and builders shouting. It would have nice to be informed of this at checkin. The morning of checkout we had the door open and were just finishing packing and the housekeeper came in and started to clean around us we felt a bit rushed to get out.
location is great, 200m away from a major U,S bahn and tran station called Friedrichstrasse. value for money is excellent, room is clean, bed is comfortable, we checked in in 10 min, really quick, room was ready on spot. I liked that it had adjustable temperature. Bathroom and shower a bit small but at this location and price, there is nothing to complain about. I will definitely stay there again. The area is a very nice residential area, felt very safe, a 10 min walk on foot to Reichstag's building.
I found the hotel on the internet and made reservations prior to departing home. We stayed at the Allergra hotel two nights. It was well located for sightseeing in Berlin. The room was not large but was comfortable. No Air conditioning. WIFI was available. A good breakfast buffet was provided. We thought the value was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were several restaurants within walking distance. The overall area around the hotel was nice - felt safe.
The best thing about this hotel is its location in the center of Berlin and close by to many touristic destinations and Berlin HBF, the staff are friendly and helpful, the room is wide and clean, the internet is ok, there are many restaurants in the same street, the street can get a bit loud at night.
Booked the hotel for a five day tourist stay in Berlin. The hotel is well run, the reception desk (across the road in its sister hotel) was friendly and efficient. The room was average size with a modular ensuite. The beds had comfortable memory foam mattresses. I only used the restaurant for breakfast, but this was a good quality buffet which included all the usual things. The hotel is really well located for eating places and local bars by the river and the local atmosphere was nicely chilled and friendly. The local district is very nice and within walking distance of a number of museums, places of interest, and major attractions
