Really bad check in, we arrived at 5pm to be told the room was not ready and we would have to wait, many other guests in foyer waited for 2+ hours. Staff shortage apparently. After 1 hour we were given the room which had a poor layout, no kettle and quite a lot of noise from other guests. Maybe suited to a younger market than us 60 year olds. The bed was comfy, the shower good and super close to the main station.

The self-service check-in was tedious, the person available to assist in the process was unfriendly and provided help begrudgingly. Other staff, however, were helpful and friendly. The room was small (not atypical for Europe), but there was somewhat limited closet and drawer space. The location was good if your priority is being close to the main train station. However, there are better locations if you want to walk to destination sites.
