We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We absolutely LOVED the location. We had a quad room with bunk beds. Room was a bit small, however, we were only there to sleep. Breakfast was great and perfect way to start the day. The location is amazing, 1 1/2 blocks from Alexanderplatz , which comes in handy because we took the train from Airport. We also used their public transportation during our stay and this made it more convenient, as it was a 10 minute walk to the station. I would highly recommend this hotel. We were a family of 4 with two teen age kids.

We liked this hotel very much indeed! As it is classified to be a 2,5 stars hotel, we consider it marvellous. It was very modern and clean and we also enjoyed their breakfast with fruits etc. Its location is very easy if you come from Tegel airport by bus TXL or if you want to use busses number 100 or 200.

This was our first visit to H2 Alexanderplatz. It has a central location close to public transport which is very good in Berlin. Check in was very quick and easy. The first impression is very important and this was quite good. The room is not very big but had good beds. Unfortunately the bed had dirty linen. This is not acceptable, but when taken up this with the reception this was fixed. The breakfast was good. You had many choices to pick so the was no reason to get out humgry. You have to be awware that the breakfastrrom is quite small and can be crowded. A pluss for the fast working elevators.

I was so pleased with the H2 Hotel on our trip to Berlin. They were great at responding to all the questions I had before booking our rooms, especially Vanessa. The room and hotel were very clean, bathroom had everything we needed, beds were comfortable, the hot/cold breakfast was excellent and the staff were always very polite and willing to help with whatever you needed. The location was perfect, being no more than a block and a half from Alexanderplatz and the train station. There is a Netto grocery store behind the hotel, a restaurant within the hotel that served excellent food (the bolognese was our favorite) and a Hofbrauhaus restaurant next door. There us also a taxi stand out front for those that need a taxi. An earlier review mentioned something about the shower area of the bathroom not having a door. It does, the door can just swing to either close off the entire bathroom or just the toilet area so someone can still get to the sink and shower. The bathroom even had a speaker for the tv in the ceiling and heated floors, which my 6 year old loved. One note, be careful with the hot water in the shower. We had some slight issues with the adjusting of it when taking our showers, we would get some really hot water for a few seconds on occasion. The double shower heads were great! The room with two doubles/queen is small but functional, you're not in there for anything but sleeping anyway. My only complaints are there is not enough storage and the pillows are just too flat for my liking, I asked for two extra ones for us to use which helped. I find this to be the case with any hotel we have stayed in while in Germany, except for maybe the Holiday Inn chain. There should also be more than 3 coat hangers in the rooms. I would loved to have hung up and put away the things in our suitcase so I could put it away for the week. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. We will definitely return to this hotel on all future trips to Berlin.

Great budget hotel, stayed here recently in my visit to Berlin. The hotel is in central Alexandra platz. We took the airport express train from Scholenfeld Airport cost 3 Euro 80 each way straight to Alexanderplatz, exited Karl Leibechnet- Strausse walk in the opposite direction of the tv tower so it is behind you, you will pass a Euro car hire place on the right, houfe Munchen is next this has a big beer garden outside on the pavement then the H2 hotel is next. Hotel is quiet despite being busy, staff were friendly, they do snacks and food 24hours a day. As others have said it can get a bit busy in the morning for breakfast but it isn’t too bad. Rooms are small, but very clean, toiletries and hairdryer is supplied. No safe, or tea making facilities in rooms but as I say drinks and food are available downstairs. The hotel is within walking distance of the Tv tower the hop on hop off bus, Radisson Blu, St Mary’s Church, Berlin Dom and museum island. We actually walked to the ReichStag which was a nice leisurely walk. I would def stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights on a weekend break to Berlin. The hotel is perfectly located in Alexander-Platz next to the train station which is easily accessible from both airports. It is in a bustling area next to an outdoor market, a huge beer hall ‘Hoffbrau Berlin’. It is a 5 minute walk away from the TV tower and a pleasant stroll away from many of the city’s landmarks. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a short city break.

I stayed at the H2 Hotel Alexanderplatz Berlin with my family during August 2017 for 5 nights. Prior to arrival, I had spent some considerable time researching accommodation in the city before noticing the H2. Having read the reviews of previous fellow travellers and the considered experience of my own family in staying at the hotel, I was happy to note the following. The first thing to say is, "we enjoyed our stay at the hotel". It does not pretend to be something it is not, the rooms are compact in size and this was clear from the website info and from discussing the room type with the booking agent. We stayed in room 608 which accommodated the 4 of us in bunk beds. Great on-suite shower with heated floor, plenty of towels, (changed daily) along with room service, multiple sockets for the kids to plug in their devices for charging. The bunk beds themselves, were quite comfortable, but we did ask for some extra pillows at reception, which was no problem. The air conditioning worked fine and the room temperature was comfortable. The Wi-Fi reception in the room was good with no complaints. Breakfast consisted of a typical but adequate continental breakfast with some hot food options in the form of scrambled eggs as an alternative, that set us up for the day. One of the standout features of this hotel for me, are the staff, whom I found to be friendly & helpful, (special thanks to Alexander at reception). We were able to drop our bags off and leave them there on the first day as we had arrived early and the room was not ready and likewise on departure as our flight was a late one. Also, great suggestions about where to eat (Hackescher Mark), places to see & how to get there. The hotel does not have a bar, but that is not an issue as there is a beer garden close by and its also located next door to the H4 Hotel, if you feel like a night cap. The S & U Bahn is quite close, e.g. 10 minute walk and there is a mini supermarket at the rear of the hotel for convieniance. In summary Berlin is an amazing city to visit, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and have re-booked for April 2018!

I was told this was a 2* hotel, but it is way above this. OK, there are a few rough edges, but the rooms are clean, the breakfast is ample and varied and the staff are more like I would expect from a 4 or 5* hotel. Its 5-10 minutes from Alexanderplatz train station and close to Alexa shopping centre. The foyer had egg chairs - a personal fetish of mine. Despite the fact that the hotel seemed to be full of students, I was never disturbed by any noise. And it is almost right next to the Belin Hauptbrau Haus. The shower was one of the best I have ever had in a hotel. If I had to make any complaints it would be the lack of a proper chair for the (narrow) desk and the circular formica cupboard meant a lot of space was unusable. But I would happily stay here again.

Great hotel in an ideal location. Rooms are small but very functional and well laid out. Comfy beds and decent shower. Location was great, 5-10 min from Alexanderplatz train station. Breakfast was an ideal start to the day. Little shop sold beer and wine and snacks for reasonable prices. Ideal hotel for the Christmas markets and I would stay here again. Decent beer hall next door to hotel.

This hotel is in the Alexanderplatz which is the main square in East Berlin. It is situated 5 mins walk to main line overground and underground station and also for all buses and trams (including the Hop-on hop-off bus tours) The hotel itself has 8 floors with 3 lifts so no long wait On the ground floor is the cafeteria which is where you have breakfast but is also open 24/7 serving pasta, burgers, sandwiches and any beverage either alcoholic or non alcoholic We were on the 8th floor room 823, it was spacious, bathroom was lovely and beds were comfortable, small open wardrobe but only two shelves but was enough for us for the 2 nights we stayed This hotel does not have views but we were at the back and could see the tv tower Staff very friendly and helpful If you book direct with them you get 20% of food and drink
