What a beautiful hotel! Every space has been designed beautifully by its Spanish owner. The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. In the evenings there is often something happening in the cool and hip bar. One night there was live jazz which was really good. The spa is small but beautiful and the massage I had was one of the best I've ever had. The rooms were spacious and there are library areas on each landing which were great chill out areas. The concierge was so helpful too. We will definitely be back and will definitely recommend this super city centre hotel to our friends.

It was an amazing weekend for us to stay in das stue. Hotel was very nice and clean. Hotel staff were very helpfull and nice. Thanks to all hotel staff.. I hope we will stay again in the hotel as soon as possible

Das Stue is simply a Pure Perfection. The Design is world class. The atmosphere and staff so professional, friendly and at the same time so relaxed and nice. The food at the Chinco is probably the best food that I have had. Simply a masterpiece. The breakfast is so absolutely out of the ordinary. Preparing the breakfast the way they do is simply a firework. The Egg Benedict with Jamon Iberico is to die for. This Hotel is from now on my favourite. The bar and live events both joyful and highest quality of art. Perfect in all aspects and Ill be coming back again and again and again.

Former Spanish embassy remodeled into what is now a very stylish hotel with a great ambiance, friendly employees, good restaurants and evenings with great live jazz. Great location close to the Zoo and park. Rooms are well equipped, well designed and have high ceilings.

The place I would always stay in Berlin... lovely staff, great bar and delicious food. The design classic and contemporary with really lux rooms. There are no bad points and this is just about one the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

Das Stue is a great choice for travellers on the lookout for boutique luxury. I do find the service less than super attentive and I guess a carpet shampoo in the lobby is long overdue, but rooms are lovely and staff very nice. Interior design wise, this place is hard to beat. One thing to note is that right now, you have construction going on next door – if that is something you might find annoying, the place might not be your favourite.

Recently spent 4 nights in this very classy hotel. Interior decor is contemporary and full of interesting zoo-related sculptures. Our room was modern in design and huge. We enjoyed sitting in the relaxed bar area having a glass of fizz and delicious club sandwich. We had the most amazing meal in the signature restaurant and thought it was very good value for money. I would politely suggest that the breakfast could be improved a little - certainly catered more to the European clientele, just not to my particular taste. The concierge team was very helpful in organising a car and guide to show us around this very interesting city. Would highly recommend Das Stue.

A real oasis in this busy town, calm and stylish, super nice staff and a really nice atmosphere- rooms are quiet and generously big, functional and well equipped. Great taste wherever you are at this place!

A great hotel does not have to be the newest or flashiest, and Das Stue is fading in some respects, it is still heaven with a small h, a little investment in correcting minor wear and tear issues, it could be Heaven with a capital H. However, it is still a fantastic hotel, blessed with some of the most amazing staff, helpful, friendly and professional to the core. One thing is for sure, staying here will not disappoint.

This remains one of the best hotels in Berlin, though a number of new entrants will challenge over the coming couple of years. This is a grown-up hotel. Nothing flashy. Well-appointed rooms though furnishings beginning to show some wear. Food is limited and priced for top of the market. Location is interesting, side street by the zoo, surrounded by other embassies and official buildings. A retreat. I'll be back, though will also check out some of the new properties once they open.
