Clean and easy hotel in central Mitte, Berlin. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and the front desk was very helpful. Though central, the hotel itself is very quiet and I slept very well. Should you need one, taxis are easy to find right outside. A nice walk to Oranienstraße and plenty of good shops, cafes, bars, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

We traveled as a family of three. I chose this hotel for brand and location (a short walk 3-4 mins to the U-bahn and its immediate location to the former wall) , we were NOT disappointed. Hotel is very clean spacious and modern. We had a corner room which was actually 3 counting the large entry. Our 25 y/o daughter had her own room with double doors and she loved that. Room was extremely quiet even tho it faced a well traveled street. We checked in early and they happily held our luggage and we immediately took off for a 10-15 walk to find "Checkpoint Charlie". Tea kettle worked great for instant coffee, lines clean and fluffy, large bathroom and very pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfast included in our chosen rate, a total of 21 days traveled in Europe and it was in my opinion the best one. Dining staff was helpful and very cordial. We loved the waffles and the "filtered coffee" was a blessing. We were close to everything, we did a 3rd Reich tour and front desk was extremely helpful with maneuvering the u-Bahn. We would definitely stay again. A wonderful stay.

The hotel is ok with decent modern rooms. It felt a little more 'budget' than other Courtyard Marriots I've visited. It has a gym, sauna & bar which we didn't use. The immediate area is quite souless with no restaurants and bars to shout about. But it is central & 2-3 mins from Spittelmarkt U-bahn with easy connections all over the city. Probably would stay there again if the price was right but maybe Zoologischer or Prenzlauer areas would be more interesting areas to stay.

If you're staying a few days and want somewhere central with comfort then this hotel is for you. Breakfast €15 per person per day (cheaper to go out and explore brunch!) There is a 24 hour little 'shop' which sells beer, wine, drinks, snacks as there is no mini bar. Nice bar but it was very quiet in there so we went out - nice to relax after long day walking. Rooms clean. Nearest U (U2)is Spittlemarkt which gets you to Alexanderplatz in 2 stops which is central to everything (most lines and airport lines) and the trams. 5-7 minute walk to Checkpoint Charlie which leads to Friedrichstrasse for great shopping! (But pricey). At the end of Friedrichstrasse (turn left) is the Brandenburg Gate and Reichstad Building (40 min walk or so)

We loved this hotel - rooms were comfortable and clean. We booked this hotel as it was central and near U Bahn. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great choice of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was good and as we had to check out early they prepared a lovely and big take away breakfast.

We have just recently stayed at the courtyard by Marriott We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff on reception Check in was very quick and efficient We had booked 2 rooms and were located next door to one another which was perfect The rooms are spotlessly clean, spacious, and the beds are extremely comfortable, we overlooked the rear of the hotel rather than the front so we heard no traffic at all, therefore having a great nights sleep The buffet breakfast is fantastic, there is an array of choice Several different teas, pastries, cereals, cheeses, full English breakfast, smoked salmon, waffle maker, juices etc You will start the day with a very full tummy The bar offers a good variety of beverages and isn't over priced either A short walk away is checkpoint Charlie aswell as a whole host of amazing and interesting places of interest so the location is very good The hotel is also situated on the marathon circuit which I believe is held twice a year (March/April and September) We flew from Tegel airport which from there to the airport is roughly €30 in a taxi but it's cheaper on the S bahn

Excellent location - 3 minutes walk from the underground train station, 7 minutes walk from Checkpoint Charlie, 20 minutes walk from Alexanderplatz and around 25 walk minutes from Brandenburg Gate. There's a Lidl or Aldi (I can't remember which one) within a 3 minute walk to stock up on snacks and lots of great restaurants within a 15min walk. The room itself was very comfortable as you would expect from the Marriott brand. I had booked the suite for myself and my elderly parents and we had ample room to spread ourselves out and not feed claustrophobic. Breakfast was EXCELLENT. I miss that crispy bacon already. Great coffee too. The serving staff should be commended for very friendly service, always with a smile even when it was extremely busy with huge tour parties! The only let-down for me were the staff on reception. While they were efficient, which was great, they also came across as robotic and you would rarely see them smile. I hope they are not unhappy. The highlight of my stay here was the hotel sending a small muffin cake to the room on a slate with Happy Birthday written on it as a surprise for my mum!!! This was such a nice touch. Thank you to all of the staff who arranged this and thanks for keeping in touch with me on Facebook ahead of my stay with you.

The double room cost us about 100 euro which is a very good price for a place like this.Though the hotel is in the centre of a very big and noisy city,I could sleep in the afternoon-absolutely quiet with this concept of the building encompassing the internal yard.Comfortable beds, curtains that can make the room dark at any time.I could really rest very well during a very exhausting business trip to Berlin.Stuff is very well trained and efficient. The Oleo bistro in the hotel is very good, especially that concept of lunch menu in a wooden box!for 9.50e. Good to have iron and ironing table in all rooms.I only missed slippers and shower cap.

I travelled here in august 2016 for 3 nights, Thgis hotel has a gr8 location where it is near to the mall of berlin where you can make shopping there , its 15 min walk, also it is near to alexander platz which is the most famous platz in berlin. the food was good and the rooms as very clean and very wide, i enjoyed the room so much , i dont have any con in this hotel.t

The hotel is comfortable, rooms are adequate. The staff is great, friendly by nature. The hotel is a bit out of center and the breakfast could be a bit more diverse. There is a restaurant and a bar, which are fine.
