Stayed at The Art'Otel last week for x 4 nights. It is an easy to find, central, clean and efficient hotelThe place is airy with really nice rooms and situated by the canal The subway is opposite if you don't want to walk We walked miles and were able to find short cuts to places we wanted to visit It is close to St Nicolas church where there are a great choice of resteraunts and cafes Staff were helpful and pleasant Nothing was a bother. Would recommend
The first note is that all are a very friendly staff. Located in walking distance to the City Center & across the street from a subway stop. Rooms are perfectly modern.decor & furnishings are contemporary. The room is small & utilitarian, all in the very best way. TV screen is more than adequate in size. Wonderful breakfast buffet. All is reasonably-priced. What more can one say!
We stayed here for 2 nights on the 18th and 19th May. The hotel was easy to find and looks very unassuming from the outside but as soon as you step into the lobby, you're presented with a calm oasis of art; lovely big chairs and striking lamps. Check in was quick and easy and we happily left our bags as our room wasn't ready; we ended up coming back around 8 hours later! Our room was 106 on the first floor, over looking the road. It was very clean and tidy, the complimentary toiletries were of good quality as well. We had no trouble with road noise at all and the black out curtains were a welcomed touch too. The hotel is ideally situated for Museum Island and there's a U Bahn stop just outside the hotel if you want to travel further afield; we walked everywhere though and didn't use it. On check in we were given a voucher for the hotel bar, which was a nice gesture but sadly we ran out of time to visit the bar or the hotel restaurant so I can't comment on them. In all we had a very comfortable and relaxing stay; with easy check in and out. The hotel is clean, modern and the staff were very friendly. I'd stay here again.
Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 2 nights and had a lovely stay. The reception staff are very helpful and friendly, giving us a map of all of the attractions in Berlin on arrival and helping with our German pronunciation! There is an underground station right outside so it's very easy to get about and it's a 10 minute walk from Alexanderplatz. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. My only negatives would be that there aren't many vegetarian or gluten free options for breakfast (I had a tomato and basil salad and some fruit) and the bar service is very slow. So I would recommend going elsewhere for drinks! Other than that, I would highly recommend.
we ordered the suite at 6 floor the room is quiet large although we expected for a nice sofa zone hotel is very clean and cozy and the staff is very helpful we had the breakfast every day. although a bit expensive it is very great with nice variety and good coffee they are very gluten free friendly in the breakfast we got gluten free bread and croissant location is a bit off main attractions but the U Bahn is 10 steps from the hotel so it didn't matter good wifi in the room
I am so glad I stayed at this hotel. The staff is just excellent. Especially the gorgeous and friendly Guest Relations Manager. She made me feel right at home and did everything she could to make my stay extra pleasant. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast was very good, the prices are affordable and overall I am super content with this hotel. The location of the hotel is great, it's in the city centre. The metro is very near and it's situated near Museum Island and Alexanderplatz. I would absolutely recommend this hotel!
Phenomenal staff in a hotel with very clean and tidy rooms are just some of many reasons why this hotel will be among the first ones whose availability I will check for all my future Berlin visits. Desire to re-visit this hotel and their courteous, friendly and thoughtful staff deserves high recommendation for all travelers coming in Berlin.
Upon arrival the lady checking us in was fantastic and welcoming. While checking in another staff member took the time to sit a few of our group down, offer some drinks and went over the city map discussing points of interest. He then gave us a brief tour of the hotel and escorted us to our rooms. I think it was the only place I've stayed where this has happened. We stayed in one of the suites on the 6th floor which was very nice. Comfortable beds and the bathroom was a good size. There is a store at the end of the street for some supplies and the fridge in the room was handy to store cold drinks in. A metro station is also very close but we were able to pretty much walk everywhere. With the Australian embassy practically next door funnily enough we bumped into Australian Foreign Affairs Minister Julie Bishop! By far the highlight of the stay was the staff though. Every one I encountered was welcoming and friendly, always asking if there was anything we needed. No request was too big or small. So thank you very much to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable, special mention to the lady in the red dress when we checked out. I didn't catch her name but she was so happy and friendly throughout our stay, taking time to ensure we were well looked after.
I booked the hotel based on the reviews in trip advisor. After actually been here I think it's a little overated. Don't get me wrong the staff are great and the hotel is very clean and tidy but I feel you can get more for your money in more popular brands of hotels. Didn't get the best of sleeps as next to busy road and a bus stop. Breakfast I thought was to limited and the restaurant to small as I had to share table with a stranger. Staff are very friendly and kindly booked taxi when ever I needed it. Rooms are simplistic but do the job for a business stay.
Love this unassuming little hotel just in the middle district of Berlin. Nicely located for all the main sites but going south can lead you an alternative Berlin- so the choice is yours. Lovely roomy rooms, with original art all over the hotel. The breakfast is tasty, generous and a great start to the day. The staff provide a good service and are very friendly. It is a very good place to stay in Berlin.
