We stayed here for 2 nights. Hotel is in a good location around 10 min from subway stop. Room was clean with so comfortable bed. Breakfast was not that bad but there is a place for improvement. Like coffee was so bad.

Berlin winters are tough so it was a pleasure to return to the comfort and warmth of our room. Our room size was great. Breakfast was all round good though I would suggest in addition to filtered coffee that a cappuccino machine be added in. All in all a very pleasant stay.

We booked this hotel as a group of friends who travel together ever year for a city break in december... our criteria for our choice of hotel is clean spacious rooms, hotel near sights and shopping and with a restaurant bar and lobby area so we can congregate as we come and go... On arrival we found the hotel has no bar or restaurant as advertised.. it has a dining area that could easily double up as such but it is only used for breakfast and We were told by the reception that it was close 4.5 months before for refurbishment... but it is still used daily for breakfast service and could easily be run as a cafe restaurant and bar at other times. We told the hotel of our upset and asked to speak to a manager... the manager was off duty for the weekend we were told and was uncontactable and unseen by us up until our departure tuesday lunchtime.. At all times there was only ever one staff member visible... i wonder for a 50 plus room hotel if this is even legal... Anyway suffice it to say that after a least half an hour of requesting the manager the receptionist rang him and proceeded to tell him of our complaint in german whilst rolling her eyes and even laughing during her conversation with him... we can and won't do anything she said... as We had booked direct with hotel we couldn't do anything or involve an agent so be warned... There is no kettle in the rooms.. the fridge didn't work so there is NO facility in this hotel to have either a hot or cold beverage for 21 hrs of the day.. how this can even be called a hotel under these circumstances I don't know but trip advisor and all booking websites need to be aware of the false advertising.. no bar or restaurant, no room service, no working fridge, no kettle or tea coffee making facilities... disgraceful and condescending attitude of staff ... the receptionist told us what's the big deal you can go to any local bar or restaurant for a drink... AVOID at all costs...

We stayed in Artim for 3 nights - our room was on the first floor, both bedroom and bathroom were spacious and very clean. Staff was friendly and breakfast had a variety of selection. Room was quite quiet (but you can still hear the elevator if you have light sleep). The location is good, underground and bus stops are nearby, also some grocery shops and KaDeWe. There aren’t much restaurants nearby, but there is one just next to the hotel (Elephant) and you can have huge and delicious schnitzels there. The only downsides that we could mention are that the rooms were a bit sterile and left a cold impression, it took about 2 minutes that the door of our room would close (due to some automatic closing system), there was basically no lobby and also the elevator was super slow and it looked as it has been there from 1970s. Wouldn’t say that it’s a 4 star hotel, rather 3, but we would still stay in Artim again.

I stayed in the Artim in September 2017 for 4 nights. It is in Fuggerstraße, which is a quiet street only a 5 min. foot walk away from 3 U-Bahn stations, so public transport is not a problem. Roughly 1 km away from Kurfürstendamm. The rooms are small, dark, decorations very basic, no mini bar at all. They have a laundry service with a steep price (25Euro for a small bag - 1 pair of jeans, 1 jumper, 2 t-shirts and a few underpants and socks). The surrounding hotels and bars are mainly gay, however, the hotel guests were just international tourists and business people. The hotel is clean, not very generous with soap and shampoo, shower in the bathtub, shower screen leaking, flooding half the bathroom each time. Safe in the room with your own programmable code, large enough for laptop. Wifi internet included. No sauna, gym, spa or other facilities. Breakfast buffet reasonable with English and continental options, fresh fruit and muesli. Not quite a 4 star hotel in my opinion, maybe 3 - 3.5 max. Basic hotel for business people and tourists who use it mainly for sleeping.

This was a lovely choice for a place to stay in Berlin, great access to the U-Bahn nearby, so easy to get around. Good sized double room, plenty of storage space, very clean and comfortable bed! Really enjoyed the breakfast with a range of hot food, pastries and cold food. Great tea selection and plenty of coffee. Breakfast was available til 10am. Staff were friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Also they went the extra step with customer service, and when I left my dresses behind they posted them to me within a few days of letting them know I’d lost them!!

The hotel was in a great location, short walk from the main shopping area of Berlin and easy access to the Underground system. Situated in the gay village it has plenty of nightlife and great bars. The rooms were very modern and comfortable and amazing quiet to say you were near the road. Not sure I'd give it 4* but certainly would stay again. Breakfast wasn't award winning but had everything you wanted. Staff very friendly. Free Wi-Fi available and effective in rooms.

I found the hotel for my parents' short stay in Berlin. Although it says it is a 4 star hotel, the quality and conditions of the rooms and the hotel much less than the stars it holds! My mother needed to put her medication in the fridge, but the refrigerator in the room wasn't working. We visited them in the hotel after breakfast but they kicked us out from the restaurant as they say it is closed and showed us two poor chairs at the entrance as the lobby to meet with friends. But, besides calling this place a "lobby", there weren't even enough the number of chairs for us to sit. My father as a businessman asked them what if I he invites his partners for a meeting. They say he can meet them in his room!!! So to put it in short: quality and conditions of the room and the hotel is not even a one star!

Stayed here for Folsom Street fair. Very noisy, raucous event, but our room was quiet and peaceful. Very comfortable bed, great deal on the room, and the staff are excellent. Seriously the BEST hotel breakfast I have ever had. These guys move heaven and earth to please the guests and it was excellent.

Lovely centrally located hotel. Nice clean room with balcony. Polite & friendly staff. However the hotel bar/restaurant was closed every night I stayed which was disappointing. However, plenty nice restaurants within walking distance.
