It’s an okay option at a decent price point. The hotel is in need of renovation but they made an effort to clean the room. However, the room smelled of cigarettes, the carpet and curtains were stained, and it looked very dated. The temperature in the evening was too low with no option to turn it up. The covers on the bed were too thin and too small. The walls are paper thin so if noise from the nearby train station, cars in the street, and other occupants is likely to bother you, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Front desk staff were friendly and it’s very close to the train so getting into the city center is easy. Plenty of dining options in the area. Neighborhood generally seems okay.

Excellent price for an outstanding location.

A major disapointment was to realize that the 2nd day of our stay the TV became out of order. We let the reception know right away and they spoke to the building administrators but by our departure 6 days later the TV was still dead.

A family week in Berlin.

Great location, satisfying amenities. The only thing that bothered us was the single bathroom and restroom, but we managed around it. In the first day we were a little worried about the noise from the train tracks, but after a while got used to it and in fact, it was very convenient to use. Some really good restaurants very close by.

When I booked into an apart-hotel, I expected a collection of apartments. All we got was a standard hotel type room, but with less facilities than I would have expected from a normal hotel room. There was a fridge, but it was not cold, so really only functioned as a cupboard. There was no kettle, toaster, microwave or any other thing to cook with. Not all of the buttons on the Remote control for TV worked. We assumed we'd be able to make our own breakfast before heading out, but had to buy breakfast out every day, so added to the cost. One final thing. One Pillow! Not a very good one either. Very disappointing.

Clean room in great location

The location of the hotel is brilliant, and close to several types of public transport (Savignyplatz S-Bahn, Zoo S-Bahn and U-Bahn, and buses and another U-Bahn on the Ku'damm. Great Asian food on Kantstrasse. The room was functional, spacious and very clean. The staff were helpful. The drawback of our particular room was the noise. It was on the side of the railway line and was very noisy, even during the night. Next time I would ask for a room on the other side.

Nice, clean hotel in central location

Central location, close to transportation. Savigny Platz S Bahn stop couldn't be any closer. Lots of food options in the area. Our room on the second floor (1st in German system) was clean and surprisingly quiet. Lots of living space. We didn't need that, but it was nice to have a little kitchen and a place to sit. All in all a great value.

Aparthotel Vega such a nice apartment hotel to stay.. the receptionist were so helpful and friendly.. big room/bathrooms which can fix the whole family (3-4 person).. Clean and comfortable.. they provide store for luggage.. worth for money.. FEEL LIKE HOME highly recommended !!

Very spacious, close to public transport hubs

The flat was simple, spacious and clean. The kitchen had basic equipment to prepare simple meals and there were many shops and restaurants nearby. Very close to U1 station and a short walk from the transport hub at zoogarten for the X9 to Tegel airport. The only downsides were the noise of the trains passing close by which might disturb light sleepers and the thin curtains in the main bedroom.

Good value hotel

The price is very reasonable. The location is excellent. The room was good sized and comfortable. The wi-fi worked well. One does have to go up some stairs to get to the hotel, so if that is an issue, then be advised. Also, there is no breakfast, but there are plenty of places nearby and a fridge was provided. The staff was helpful in two important ways. I arrived early in the morning and they allowed me to check into my room. Also, my suitcase did not arrive. The receptionist called Lufthansa's toll free number twice on his cell phone for me. I stayed at the ApartHotel Vega only two nights before moving to a house in an outlying area of Berlin (where delivery logistics would have been difficult). So I had the suitcase delivered to the ApartHotel Vega after I had checked out (I came back for it). The staff were very helpful in accepting my suitcase while I was no longer an official guest.

Not for light sleepers

Overall the hotel is good value for money. No extras but then again I don't care about extras (especially for this price). However the main train tracks run right next to the hotel and if you're a light sleeper don't expect to sleep much as a trains are going by constantly.

Appartamento molto grande e spazioso, pulito e ordinato, dotato di una cucina, un soggiorno, bagni e 3 camere. Posizionato in un quartiere con negozi, ristoranti, attrazioni e vicino alle stazioni dei bus, della metropolitana e alla S-Bahn che permettono di raggiungere facilmente il centro città. Vicino c'è anche un Lidl dove poter fare la spesa per mangiare a casa. Il personale della reception è cordiale.
