This is the second time we've stayed in Adagio apartments and we will definitely do so again. Always clean, very comfortable and well equipped. Everything needed to cook etc. The bed even folded up into the wall so we were able to turn the bedroom into a small living room and have friends round. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was really well connected to public transport and had plenty of good restaurants nearby. We especially liked Benedicts and Rum Trader.
Wonderful experience in this very well-located Adagio, calm, beautiful, clean and spacious. An amazing team, everyone was so warm and welcoming. A big thanks to the manager Lisa who has a great team. A special thanks also to Veronica, at reception who is so passionate about her job and she shows it. It is true that you feel home there. The studio is very comfortable and extremely practical, everything is of high quality (fridge microwave, dishwasher, etc.). Very responsive to any needs and request. Parking facility very practical too! I'll go back and I highly recommend it. Big plus very well located in the city!
We had a 'one bedroom' apartment which consisted of a double bedroom, comfortable sofa-bed in a 'living room' and a separate kitchenette (hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher). Bath/shower room with separate WC. Excellent location 5-10 mins walk from Uhlandstrasse U-bahn. There was plenty of room for us and our 15 year old son. Lidl supermarket is less than 5 mins walk away, which meant that we could breakfast in our 'mini-apartment' on fresh coffee and croissants every morning.
First of all, it's location is prime. You are close enough to public transportation and far enough that there is peace and quiet. Our room was just perfect. Traveling as a family of 3 is sometimes difficult to get 3 beds, but this apartment accomodated 2 of us in the bedroom and one of us on a very comfortable sofa bed. Also, I just love the concept of getting the benefits of living in an apartment (kitchenette, etc.) and the benefits of a hotel (concierge, etc.) Sometimes we don't want to eat 3 meals out a day so having a kitchen where we can keep and make food as needed was so convenient. Also, I must remark on how clean, new and nice our apartment was. Everything was in perfect condition, looking and feeling great. The staff is also adorable. They let me practice my German and would respond in perfect English if I didn't quite get it. Last but not least - no hidden fees, costs or tricks. I paid half prior to arrival and the second half upon arrival. That's it. No secret taxes or unexpected charges. What a breath of fresh air! And, finally, the price is just right - the longer you stay, the less it costs. In conclusion, do not hesitate - this place is the best!
Perfect localisation, very nice staff. Very big rooms with small kitchen so you have everything what you need. Just around the corner lots of shops. Just perfect. Its our second stay here and We'll back here for sure.
The room was very spacious and had a lovely modern feel. The bathroom was a large size, the kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. The location was also very good: An easy walk to the hustle and bustle of Kurfurstendamm which had all the fancy shops and restaurants on it. Around the corner was a grocery store, which was very convenient! It was also a short distance to the U-Bahn and a nice walk to Ka De We shopping centre. Definitely one of the better locations in Berlin.
In such a vast city that you have not visited before, needing to accommodate a family of four without breaking the bank, where do you begin? You can research till your blue in the face and incredibly frustrated by the choice on offer. There is no better way than trying it out for yourself, and that’s what we did. On a cold Sunday night after a transfer from Tegel airport , there was nothing more welcoming than the chap on reception. Throughout the stay the staff continued to smile and greet when we entered the building. The rooms were immaculate and spacious. More than adequate for two adults. A 16 and a 12 year old. With the addition of a sliding door for added privacy it was like a two roomed apartment. The kitchen was more than suitable for preparing much more than basic meals. We used it predominantly for breakfast. Having a dishwasher was a welcome surprise. A great powerful and hot shower, along with a separate toilet. Two TV’s, so there was no arguing over which German TV program to watch. Location wise it could not be faulted. A short walk to the quite swanky shopping area on Kurfurstendamm. You will need to use the public transport to save your legs and its a short walk to the nearest U Bahn station at UhlandStr, or bus stops. If you prefer to use an Uber, it cost us 21 Euros on our return to Tegel. This was our first time in an apartotel and I have to say it was a pleasant surprise. Far surpassing our expectations. Congrats to the staff. So if your looking for a suitable, and not bank breaking place to rest your head in a fantastic city, then please consider this.
Great location, only 5 minutes from the Ku'damm. Wonderfully attentive staff. Comfortable and well equipped rooms. Don't bother with the breakfast! It's a con to pay 13 euros for so little choice. There are a few decent cafes which have far better choices and are cheaper just a few minutes walk away. Although the rooms are comfortable they are not well soundproofed. Could easily hear other rooms on some nights, with, shall we say, some "nocturnal activities" going on. Also for a hotel with 133 rooms, there are only 2 washing machines available. These were, naturally, in constant use; there is a decent launderette 10 minutes away on Uhrlandstrasse that should be used instead.
The studios offer all the comfort needed to work and relax while in Berlin. Internet works well. There ate many coffee shops and restaurants around as well as well as nearby tube stations to go and visit the rest of the city. The personnel is very professional and attentive to clients need.
Adagio Berlin Kurfurstendamm is nice hotel with nice small apartments, that are equipped with everything you need in a few day's or a longer stay in Berlin. Reception opened 24/7, very helpful staff. Free overnight parking in the surrounding streets (22.00-9.00).
