The hostel was brilliant value for money, right in the heart of Berlin, Stayed in a double room for 4 nights with on suite for £25 a night including breakfast. Rooms were clean, bed comfy,Bed Linen and towels included, brilliant for bars and restaurants, they were everywhere just outside the hostel. The breakfast served 7am-10am was ceral, bread rolls, spam-type meat and cheese tea/coffee etc. basic same every morning not recommended if paying 5euro on the door but as included more than fine. Turn right at end of road 20 mins into Alexandraplatz by underground Frankfurter Tor or a nice level walk of about 45mins. Or turn left head towards Warschaur Str train station into various central locations. Again a nice level walk into centre Berlin past the East Side Gallery. The Wi-Fi is not free you pay per hour. The only downside was the noise coming from the hallway and other guest rooms. Being a Hostel there was a load of school kids which made for noise up to midnight. So bring ear plugs.
I have been here in July 2017, my first hostel experience. We were 3 men in a 8 beds room, so we had so many spaces for us. The reception was kind, the room was clean. Good position. The bathrooms were clean in the first time but after two days they closed one of the two bathrooms, so the only one opened was too dirty. Very great price, less than 10 euro per night. The breakfast was normal, not reccomanded if is not included in your prenotation.
My friends and I managed to book an ensuite private room for a very cheap price, and although the hostel is nothing fancy, it certainly served its purpose. The bathroom was very clean and the location was perfect- a cocktail bar on every corner and a few metres away from supermarkets and shops. It's got great transport links and is close to the East Side Gallery. The hostel does however charge for most things, such as linen, wifi and towels, and there's no wifi in the rooms, but besides that it was good and very comfortable.
We were a group of 6 friends divided in two rooms for 3 people each of there. I have to say that rooms were pretty good, cleaned and big. The bathroom was very spacious but it was because our room was directed to disabled people, and it was the reason of its size. Wifi isn't free but paying only 2'5€ you can be 4 hours in internet, and it's a lot because I have been there for 6 days and I have only used 3 of those hours. A receptionist with two ponytails (sorry for not knowing her name) is one of the kindest people that I have ever met. Thanks for all All In Hostel Berlin. - x David from Spain.
Booked 3 nights here, only good thing about it is its location. Upon arrival we were faced with hidden fee's such as paying 4 euros for bed sheets which were not included. No free WiFi but the WiFi you pay for can only be used in reception and it is awful anyway. No kitchen available for guests not even a kettle. The 'hostel' has about 3 million rooms all with authentic prison cell decor. We left our table inside to go for a ciggy and the security guard came and took our snacks and playing cards and chucked them in the bin when it was more than obvious what we were doing.
The hostel was brilliant value for money, right in the heart of Berlin, only 20 mins into Alexandraplatz by , M10 tram end of road, then 2 stops down, at Warschaur Str either S3,S75,S7 into various central locations. Rooms were clean, beds comfy, brilliant for bars and restaurants, there everywhere just outside especially just round the corner. We had the breakfast, continental only, bread cheese, spam-type ham, cereal, yogurt etc, cost 5 euro when paying at hostel. Only slight negatives, shower blocks immaculate and clean, but no curtains , not ideal for the body conscious, some women were using swimwear for modesty, and please don't use the hostel computers took twenty minutes to load english web pages, if trying too sort boarding passes use different option. All in all would highly recommend this hostel, it was cheap , clean , family friendly , great location and better than a lot of hotels. We would have rated 5 star if had curtains , and good fast internet. Thank you for a nice stay in Berlin."BRILLIANT CITY"
Hostel is on a great location, very good servis and prices. Very happy I stayed there. You can check in late at night and check out at 1pm. Only the elevator is sometimes scary :) get stuck couple of times but still alive ;) and one bad thing is that there is no free wifi. You must pay for it and still signal is really bad in rooms
The reception was open 24/7, the staff was helpful, moderately friendly. What I didn't like about the hostel was its kind-of prison arrangement, from the bunkbeds to the metal lockers to showers which are all in one big tiled space (are not separated). The colours on the walls didn't help me feel that I wasn't in detention :) There is not even a kettle available, but the place is clean and it's not too loud. There is a cafeteria where you can have your breakfast and some vending machines for drinks and snacks. The internet is available for a fee and you cannot drink alcohol in the room. So, we used the place only for sleeping, unfortunately. It's not very welcoming and cosy. But it's fine.
The location of the hostel is amazing, there's a ton of restaurants and bars in the same street and it's close to an U-Bahn station. The place was clean, there was no problem with the staff and sheets and towels are included in the price. However, I highly recommend you book a private room with a bathroom as in the common bathroom the showers don't have any curtains nor other separation. Not so much privacy there. Also, the Wi-Fi is not free at all. The bunk beds are not the most comfortable things ever because they are not tall enough to sit up on them, but it's okay for a few nights. One last thing: in our room there was only one socket so an extension cable might be a good idea if you're travelling with friends. Overall, if you're not so picky about accommodation and appreciate the good location and low price it's a fine place.
