Get what you paid for. No AC althought it was winter and i didnt need it. Rooms are fairly spacious. They are twin beds pushed together. Food selection is around 500~700m away by foot. It is located in the heavily Middle Eastern influenced district. Not dangerous or anything but the food will be mostly middle eastern(walking distance). Local store to buy basic water and needs. Easy to miss but not too far. Ask the front desk. They close the hotel and quiet time is enforced after 9:00 if I remember correctly. Anyways great hotel for the price. Not complaining. It is right next to the aiport. ~14 Euros
I stayed here for one night in room 63. The room was really nice and clean and i had a bathtub, which i always find lovely. The bed was big and super comfortable and I had like a balcony on the fire escape, which was nice. The location of the hotel is not very good. From Hauptbahnhof it took like 20 min and i had to change bus once and there is nothing very exciting going on i the area where the hotel is. For my purpose this was fine, but if you're in Berlin to see Berlin I wouldn't stay so far away from a city center. The breakfast was good and the staff suupernice, which made my stay very nice and comfortable. Really really price worthy.
We chose the hotel because it was close enough to the airport without being too close. The room was pretty and spacious, it had a safe - a feature that I liked - and had an outlet on each side of the bed for charging our phones (very convenient!). Breakfast was lovely, and we had a courtyard view out of our room window. Our tour group had spent its last night here, then my husband and I stayed on one additional night before leaving for the U.S. We especially appreciated Deputy Manager Gabriel, who answered any questions that we had, and also helped us understand the bus lines so we could tour the city one last time before flying home.
I stay at the Gold Inn Alfa Hotel when I first arrived in Berlin. The room that I received was immaculate and spacious. It was a lot more than I expect for the reasonable price. The value and quality of the rooms is only shadowed by the quality of the staff that works there. Upon check out the staff offered to help with anything I may need settling in Germany, as I had just relocated. Additionally, I know that if I ever would like a coffee or a beer and a quite relaxing place to sit, I can still come back here anytime. I constantly recommend the hotel to family and friends and now recommend it to any one who reads this.
Clean and comfortable room, staff very helpful and pleasant.breakfast always nice and fresh.in a quiet location so suited us well for what we wanted.travel into the sights of Berlin was easy just get on a bus and ask for all transport day ticket. Thank you Alfa hotel for 3 wonderful days at your hotel.
The room we had was very modern and clean! Bed was comfy and just a very nice hotel! Receptionist was very helpful with directions and stuff! A bit out of centre Berlin but as soon as you get used to the transport it's very easy to get to the centre from here! No complaints at all! Very pleasant stay for a good price in Berlin!
Room: I stay here only for 1 night in a big twin room. I booked via booking.com, and the room looks completely the same as in photos. The room is clean, the view to the street is very nice (now is spring and trees are green). Staff: I met 2 receptionists and quite satisfied with one very friendly and helpful guy. Good location: It is only 2 min from the bus stop. Price: The price of 67€ is quite reasonable for a 3 star hotel. I will definitely come back.
Very cold in room Reception only until 22:00 Location good No minibar No air conditioning and/or heater in room Nonsmoker room with smoke smell Bar not working at night Medium service, location and quality but value to money
The area it's in is a bit quiet with lots of middle eastern fast food places/shops near by. However, bus stop outside the hotel which takes you to the underground where you can access the entire city.
Stayed here for 4 nights. Easy for buses to get into the center of Berlin. From there get a 3 day pass and you jump on any transport. Nice clean modern rooms and an excellent selection at breakfast including hot foods. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
