The hotel was an easy bus-ride from Tegel airport which made it easy getting to and from the airport when I was traveling. It's also close to a metro station, which makes getting around the city very easy. In addition, numerous sightseeing opportunities are in easy reach of the hotel.

Hotel location was great-a block or so from Hackesher Mrkt, which has a cute restaurant area. Museum island was a very short walk. Only 2 stops from main train station so easy to get to. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. WiFi limited to 30 minutes when used in our room, which was unexpected.

Fantastic hotel in the center of east Berlin. Walking distance to all sights on the east side as well as a number of good restaurants and bars. Hotel is modern and extremely comfortable and quiet. Bed was excellent! Also has a gym, sauna and two jacuzzis (open from 5am-11pm each day). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a 4-star+ hotel in east Berlin!

My stay at the Adina Apartment Hotel Hackesher turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The hotel is walking distance from Museum Island, Fernsehturm Berlin (TV Tower), the S-Bahn, and the U-Bahn at major shopping hub Alexanderplatz. My room was modern, stylish, clean, and extremely quiet. I slept very well. The wifi signal in my room was not the strongest. I had better luck using the ethernet cord by the table for my laptop. As common in many hotels, you'll need to pay extra for internet access. They do give you 30 minutes for free.

Hotel was advertised as having free wifi, an important feature for many international travelers. You can only get 1 hour of free wifi at a time and you need to request it from the front desk. If this is not important to you, this is a very good hotel. In particular, the staff was outstanding.

Excellent hotel, room, staff and service. Clean, affordable, friendly staff willing to help. Very comfortable, clean and modern rooms. This hotel and staff far exceed my expectations.

great value for money. very very recommended. thanks.

Best location to explore Berlin. Lots of cafés, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Rooms are big and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

My second stay there. Was there this time for 5 nights. Free upgrade to a suite. Helpful staff. Easy access to Sbahn, Ubahn, and streetcars. Located near Hackescher Markt, but a quiet hotel just far enough away from the Markt. Washer and dryer in the suite which is handy, along with a small kitchen. Free wifi in lobby. Many cages and restaurants in the area. Will stay there again.

My wife and I spent a week in May 2012 at the Adina Apartment Hotel in Berlin. The Adina provides an ideal location and the best elements of an apartment and a hotel. It is across the street from the Hackesher Market S-Bahn Station and provides quick transport to any part of the city. Local trams and bus lines are also near the hotel. You can walk a few blocks to Alexander Platz (the TV tower and Berliner Dom), the Spree River with lots of cafes and boat rides, Museum Island (Pergamon Museum et al), and Hackesher Market and Orienburger Street, with lots of cafes and interesting shops. The Brandenberg Gate is a short bus ride (#100) or a long walk down Unter Din Linden Street. The hotel rooms are basically modern one bedroom apartments. The beds are queens, the living room has a sofa, desk (with ethernet for a fee), small balcony, and kitchenette with diswasher. The bathroom has nice shower and tub and also a compact clothes washer and dryer. The hotel also offers hotel-like amenities, like daily house-cleaning (they even wash your dishes in the dishwasher), restaurant and room service (breakfast), and an exercise room. They don't have a concierge but the front desk staff are very helpful. Free WiFi is available in the lobby and bar. Prices vary by day-of-the-week and weekends are higher. But prices are reasonable ($150-225) given the location and amenities. Do a Spree River cruise early in your trip. Not all trips are in English. There are also many hop-on-, hop-off buses for seeing all the main sights. Good for an overview tour, but we found the S-Bahn, U-Bahn, buses and trams to be easy and very quick after the first day. Note that there is an S-Bahn/U-Bahn app for smartphones.
