I found this hotel really appealing to the eye and it did not disappoint! The interior is beautiful, both in public areas such as the lobby as well as rooms. I found the restaurant average as their choice of food did not vary much, but it was definitely worth the price paid! The rooms were always cleaned sufficiently and staff were extremely pleasant. We used the conference facilities, and they were set in a really professional environment that was suited to our needs. The only issue with this was that halfway throughout our final day, another event that was extremely loud was occurring in the room next door! As a whole, I would recommend this hotel - however please be noted that it is quite some distance from Berlin city centre and airports such as TXL!
Reporte sobre hotel Abacus Tier Park – Berlin I have stayed several times in this hotel in Berlin, it is not centrally located, but about 100 meters from the hotel is the Tierpark subway station, that allows you to reach the city centre fast and easy. Considering the excellent transportation system the city has, as a tip, for the modic price of 8 EUR you can buy a one day ticket that allow you to travel by subway, tram and city train for one day. The hotel is a big standard 4 stars hotel, with standard facilities for this category, rooms were clean and the personal at the reception and the restaurant for breakfast is polite and efficient, doing their best to help me when I requested something. The rooms do not have safe box, but you can get one for free, in a small room beside the reception. Maybe the best thing, is an abundant breakfast, including omelets, scrambled eggs, etc, prepared for 2 cookers at the moment and breakfast is served in a spacious restaurant, part of which, has a glass roof allowing you to enjoy your breakfast under the day light. For persons travelling by car, the hotel also has a big parking area, where parking is for free. You can have wifi for a price of 2 EUR a day, maybe not the fastest, but it works properly. The hotel has a restaurant opened until 22:00, but the menu at night is limited and in my opinion overpriced for what they offer, but if you decide to stay at the hotel at night, nearby the hotel there are not many options of restaurants. Otherwise, I consider it a good option, if you do not mind staying out of the city centre and using the subway. I would definitively would stay there again.
I stayed at Abacus Tierpark Hotel in January for two nights. Booked independently, I asked for a smoikng room and twin beds for my friend and myself. We were allocated a room on the 10th Floor - and it was a smoking room. Hotel is good, room was spotless, breakfast was plentiful and the staff very helpful. I recommend Tierpark Hotel for visitors from UK as it is just 35/40 minutes from Schoenefeld Airport. S Bahn is direct, one changes at Frankfurter-Allee station which is just 7 minutes from Tierpark on the U Bahn. There is a Kaisers Supermarket between the UBahn Station and the hotel. I have never been to Berlin before, I only saw (in a full day) the Reichs/Bundestag, the Brandenburg Gate, KadeWe Department Store and a model train shop - but it was a good trip. Berlin is not in anyway pretensious - it is therefore a cool city to explore. I intend to look further in the near future
We stayed in Abacus Tierpark hotel for a night during our stay in Berlin. Hotel is very well connected to publlic transport (tram and U-bahn) so it is not problem to reach it. It is very big hotel. First potential problem is check-inn - possible only after 3 PM. Rooms are big and clean as well as bathroom. Internet is available but one has to PAY for it - not much (2 EUR) but still. Breakfast is good but ... place where you have breakfast is to small for size of hotel and you have to wait to take food so this is minus. Service is good and helpful.
The room was large and clean. The beds were hard, though, and there was only a single coverlet which was either too hot or too cold if you kicked it off (typical these days). The bathroom was fairly large, too. They were able to give us an ironing board and iron. The wifi was fast and free but there could have been more electrical plugs. The restaurant only had buffet and I got the special rate but it was still pretty high. The food was good, though. The hotel is pretty far outside Berlin center but there’s a tram right outside the hotel and the subway is one tram stop away.
We stayed here for 3 nights when on a coach holiday with National Holidays. The hotel was clean, but the staff were either rude or had a couldn't care less attitude. In general the food was okay, but as we were with a holiday company we were given no choice of menu. You pay for WiFi, but wasn't expensive, but you can only use one tablet or phone at a time.
The lunch buffet was really simple, without many choices and it didn't look very inviting. The meat offer was only pork and one type of fish and for the dessert they only had ice cream and a few cookies. The service was friendly, but not outstanding. The price for the buffet was around 19€
Clean room, polite staff. Rooms OK but not up to 3 stars. Thus mattresses and a "cold" feeling about the place. Dining was confusing as the buffet didn't flow as well as other hotels...and there was a strange smell in some if the rooms. Hairdryer didn't work.
Hotel has big rooms and helpful staff. Not far away from city centre and a walking distance to a nice zoo. It is cheap to have a wifi connection for a week. Few stops by metro to alexanderplatz. A supermarket nearby which is very convenient.
this is a lovely and big hotel.we were three and we had a very big room.the rooms were clean and comfortable. the food was delicious.not all staff know how to speak in english but they were helpful.one can reach berlin centre with u5 just 20 mins away.
