I loved this hotel. It is small and clean and easily accessible to public transport. There are also several good restaurants within walking distance. I would absolutely recommend it, if you are someone who travels on a budget and doesn't need a lot of extravagances in their hotel stays.
This is a small, comfortable and very stylish hotel a little away from the main tourists paths. The staff wasn't very knowledgeable but I liked the facilities and the decor of the hotel a lot
This was a very nice hotel for s in Berlin. Friendly staff, close to attractions we wanted to visit. Little strange the bathroom partion curtain, it did not offer any privacy. But mother and daughter coped ok.
Loved this spot. Arrived early and they checked us in right away. Beautiful rooms with all you needed. Restaurants nearby with lots if choices, including for vegans. Easy transport anywhere in city as you are near U,S and tram. Walk to museum island, Berlin Wall memorial, Checkpoint Charlie and Brandenburg gate. One negative is that you have to have a key in for the lights to work so if you share room be careful.
Located next to the remnants of the Tascheles arts commune, the Arcotel Velvet is in the heart of Mitte, and an easy walk to many excellent locations. The rooms are somewhat unusual -- the shower is blocked off from the rest of the living room only with a curtain -- but very comfortable and full of character. I was originally booked on the smoking floor (the fifth), but was able to move. Staff is attentive and helpful.

We enjoyed our room very much, we asked for a queen bed in advance and got it, the view from our room was great. It is very unique and nice. At forst we thought it was weird there was no bathroom door but its also very romantic,
We had very good experiences here on two occasions. The staff was very helpful and tried to be accomodating. The location is very central. There are terrific ethnic restaurantsa very close by and it is possible to walk to all of the major museums. Breakfast was included during our previous stay; this time it was not. it would have been nice to sit at breakfast and meet other guests.
