Just returned from a 3 day stay in bergamo staying that the mecure hotel Hotel is ideally situated a few hundred yards from the train / bus station Airport bus stops just passed the hotel so very easy to arrive / depart Short stroll to the city bassa and bus stop outside for bus to city’s Alta Hotel itself is quite small with reception area stroke bar area and a breakfast area on the mezzanine level Rooms are of an average size with large bathroom Rooms are well decorated and above all very clean Full make landfall to the hotel staff as it was my partners birthday hence the visit Thee was a knock at the door and a tray with two glasses of wine packet of fancy biscuits and a handwritten wishing a happy birthday Would certainly recommend hotel for stay in bergamo

The hotel is situated in downtown Bergamo. You can find a strip mall that has all the major brands such as Zara and H&M, along with major food places nearby. The food places include both fast food places such as Mc Donalds and halal and other restaurants as well. Another major thing is that the railway is a few steps away, and so are the tourist sites of old Bergamo. The hotel itself is very neat and clean with a great ambiance. The room service staff particularly was very friendly. Overall a great place to stay and a must recommend to everyone out there. Happy travels!

We stayed four nights in this hotel. Location is excellent with the train and bus stations close bye and a short walk to the funicular with access to the old city. We had a room at the back of the hotel on the second floor overlooking a supermarket and restaurant. There was a skip for empty bottles and there was very loud noise of it being emptied at various times during out stay. We returned for a nap one afternoon and repair work was happening in a room on the same floor, the noise was deafening with a drill going constantly. Reception had little interest in my complaint. There is also construction work going on at another building at the back of the hotel. Work begins at 8am and goes on all day, so be warned. We did not eat at the hotel. There are many lovely coffee shops and restaurants close bye. While I enjoyed my city break in Bergamo, I dont think I would stay in this hotel again. There is better value to be had elsewhere

We had problem on the furst night and they didn't agree to cancel it so we had to pay even we come only from the second one. Hotel that do not understand its visitors. For sure thia is the last time to stay with them

Stayed 3 nights in comfortable room on first floor. Location is excellent , 4 minute walk from train/ bus station and less then 15 minutes walk to the funicular to Città Alta but also on main bus route there too. Five minutes walk to main shopping area. Clean, comfortable with friendly staff. I didn’t have breakfast but I’d highly recommend Bergamo Bistro across the road for delicious pastries and coffee for 3/4 Euro.Vox restaurant next door really good food and friendly staff.

Comfortable beds, few minutes from station, walking distance (15min) from train to upper city, we liked the rooms on backyard (although the laundry truck came 4am), wifi very good, we went for higher category with higher ceiling but quite dark (403) but overall good value for money and friendly reception Staff.

Compared to most of the Mercure hotels in which I have stayed, this one was slightly disappointing. The room decor was rather tired and the breakfast was not brilliant for vegetarians. The bed and pillows were not up to Accor standard. However, the staff were great and the hotel location is excellent

Nothing fancy, but definitly adequate. Clean, comfortable, quiet and functional. It is located on the main street of the new town, between restaurants and shops, directly adjacent to a parking lot (quite expensive ~15€/day). Breakfast is basic but sufficient, staff is friendly and speeks multiple langauges. Overall, suitable for a business trip.

Nothing special to reclaim. It was Basic hotel room and standard breakfast. WiFi was working very well, which is very important. Location was good and short way to old city tram. Hotel staff was nice and friendly. I can choose next time same hotel.

OK hotel. Nothing more or less. My room was freezing when I got it. Had probably not been heated for quite a while. Had breakfast included, but both by check in and during breakfast the staff personnel (same one both times) insisted it was not included, which proved to be wrong. Freezing bathroom the whole stay and some sewage smell. All bacon was taken at the breakfast buffet when I came down to eat. I will most likely not use this hotel by my next stay in Bergamo.
