Not enough parking spaces for hotel - maybe because of patrons at restaurant. Personal issue - Our room was hot because the thermostat is locked on 70 degrees. The building and rooms are very clean and furnished nicely. They decorate nicely for the holidays. The staff is courteous and helpful. We didn't eat at the restaurant.during our stay. Would we stay again - yes.

The room was clean and comfy. We did not eat at the restaurant, but heard the food was great there. We sat at the bar and had drinks. Our bartender was very attentive and made a great Old Fashioned!

This was a very nice historic hotel. The rooms were very quiet and comfortable. The ventilation in our room was somewhat less than comfortable, but there was a ceiling fan to help move the air around. The food was excellent, as was the service from all the staff.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, was traveling from Florida to Michigan and it was nice to finally take a rest. The hotel is older, very quaint, well kept. The rooms smaller, but clean and neat, everything need. When I arrived, the parlor had a nice fire going, but I got in too late to take advantage of it. Located in a college town, so some action on the streets, etc.

I love the historical property, but the beds are uncomfortable and noisy. The hvac in our room was very loud and we had to call and have it turned off because we couldn’t sleep. It was very hot (it’s cold outside) and no ventilation, no windows to open. The one cup coffee maker in the room didn’t work well and there is no coffee available unless you buy it from the dining room. The upside is, it’s close to hiking destinations and Buccees so it’s a quick drive for affordable coffee and food vs the very expensive dining room. We spent $80 for breakfast on the day we decided to try it out. If I stayed again, I would have to request a room with a hvac unit that is quiet and some ventilation.

Room was clean. They actually clean EVERY day unlike most of the chains. We had fresh towels and they took out the trash. We only stayed two nights but they have Hilton chains beat ten to one. They could improve with a microwave in the room but it wasn’t a big deal.
