The hotel was beautiful inside and out. The landscape and flowers were incredible! We loved sitting in the rocking chairs on the large porch. And the food in the restaurant was exceptional! I highly recommend staying at the Historic Boone Tavern.

Hotel Restaurant Cafe We Did It All
Overall great stay. We had a room on the 3rd floor and during a heatwave the AC worked well. Kept the room cooled off, which was a worry being someone who likes to be frozen to sleep. Rooms do have a mini fridge. Didn't see it in listing I emailed them and they all have one. If you're looking at photos, I did think our room would have a Jacuzzi tub, but the standard King room has a "soaking tub" aka a tub/shower combo. Check-in was easy, staff was nice. Food was good, the Frost Cafe was a great stop for coffee. Sitting on the porch was nice. The street is a very busy street, so if you are dreaming of sitting on the porch and enjoying peace and quiet.... think again. It's not overly loud, the street always has a decent amount of cars on it. Not the fault of the hotel or staff. Area was nice, about an hour away from the Bourbon trail. Did a lot and stayed two nights. If you're on the fence deciding, if you like the price. There is no reason not to stay here.
