They wanted to charge us for clean towels, there was no remote to the tv in our room, we had to wait wait for anyone to answer the phone for help because they don’t keep someone at the front desk. They literally have metal shutters at check-in. You have to call someone on a house phone. And everyone that is over the age of 18 must have a copy of their drivers license. So if Someone is joining you late do you have to get up in the middle of the night to let them in the hotel and make sure that you call on the phone and get someone to come make a copy of their drivers license. This is a big pain!!! I rarely if ever write a bad review but if you can stay anywhere else in Fayetteville Arkansas choose another hotel.
This place became pretty sketchy at night, inside and out. Outside you had meth heads roaming the parking lot looking in cars and inside we had a man come and bang on the door repeatedly the first night. I was in the shower and unable to answer. With only a towel on, I looked through the peephole and it was a random man who didn't appear to work for the motel. He continued to bang on the door for about 5 minutes. The room itself had stained sheets from every liquid you could imagine and there were small pubic hairs littering the bed. The bathroom had pee drops randomly around the tub, toilet, wall, and floor. Went I went down to the front desk to complain and ask for new sheets, I found a sign that said they had closed at 8 pm and no new sheets were given after that time. Why they specifically noted sheets, as if this problem happens often, I'll never know. The second day I went down to complain and they did provide us with cleaner sheets and new towels so that's something, but she didn't look phased or apologize which made my wife and I think this happens often. Additionally, the air conditioner sounded like Optimus Prime transforming all through the night and the pillows on the bed felt like they were filled with awkwardly-shaped stuffed animals. Advice to other travellers: stay closer to the college campus. It was nicer over there.
The beddings and towels was never changed during our entire stay. We have to dispose our own trash since nobody cleaned our room. Smokers just littered cigarette butts outside the lobby. The price was low compared to the other hotels/motels in the area.
No coffee! No extra amenities ! Slow service! Would not recommend!
The elevator sensors are out, the place is got roaches every where. They have no amenities, unless you buy them f I'm them. They don't have a linen service unless you pay extra. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemy.
The only two rooms left in Fayetteville, and now I know why. When we pulled up, there was a drug deal going down in the parking lot. The room was not ready at 7:00 p.m. because the hotel is understaffed. When we came back at 9:00, we had to wait a good 10 to 15 minutes for someone to give us our room keys. There were bed bugs in the beds of both rooms. Also, my boyfriend was shot by an air-soft gun in the parking lot from one of the windows. My room was non-smoking, but there was an ashtray and it smelled of smoke (awful).
Someone was arrested every other day. The guest are rough folks
Overall a very good room. Did not have a coffee maker Wich would be a plus .
checking in had to give $100.00 deposit (refundable only after 3 working days after you leave) People need to know this up front. What good is a suite with a full kitchen if there is not even a glass to drink out of? Nothing provided - NOTHING. People need to know this up front! I am not paying over $100.00 a night and then have to pay extra 30.00 for dishes and 30.00 for a coffee maker!!! And don't go to the bathroom much cause you only get 1 roll of tolet tissue - after that you have to pay extra for it! TV did not work. Bad place to stay - I will not be back.
I chose this place because I had to spend a week away for work. I was expecting more of a hotel. The office was not open when I checked in on Sunday, it took them half an hour to find my reservation. It may have worked for a temporary place to live, but it was no hotel. The beds are hard and if you are gone during the day you will never see the front desk staff. Also I had to give a 24 hour move out notice or they charge you more money. I won't be staying there again.
front disk window sometime openlate other wise ok.
I called day before to ask question about reservation, they had no record of it. I had to prove by finding confirmation and sending. Then Am express was charged for all days that I prepaid and more..and once again I had to make calls to get credit. The good, mng did recognize their errors and corrected, but tending to all admin details was something I didn't have time for so it detracted. Another good, daily rate was great and room CLEAN.
It a place I would never stay at again. What towels you get is it for whole time you stay there. The beds are short & hard. My room hard very little hot water to take a shower in. My friends they did have warmer water than I did. We stay there 3 nights. They offer nothing there. I would pay twenty buck more a night to stay somewhere else over VAULE PLACE. It was bad noisey also. Next to them was a Comfort Inn. I would stay next time I go to Fayetteville.
Not very friendly staff. Didn't seem to care about their customers.
We have stayed in the in the value place two times now and there are several things that would make the stay more pleasent: 1. A coffee pot with coffee in the room or a place to buy coffee. Even a vending machine would be helpful. 2. A staff that is pleasant and says hello welcome to the Value Inn and is helpful with the check in procedure instead of being put out by your presence. We were there because of the Razorback game. Good location but I don't plan on going back. It also had a "funny" smell.
First: the motel had a sign out front $159.00 Orbitz charged me $189.00. Time tax and fees $212.00 and change. Rooms were nice but the service was horrible. I even had to walk around and find someone to get clean towels and our room was never cleaned the whole time we were there. I thought going thru Orbitz was to get the best rates?

Thank you for sharing your impressions and experience. It is never easy to hear that we've disappointed a guest but we will use your feedback to help us address issues that disappointed you. We appreciate that you took time to provide this thoughtful review and we hope your future travels are truly wonderful ones.

Thank you for your comments. We are so very sorry that you were not expecting our unique amenities --- that guests pay only for the amenities they want to use (like daily cleaning, linen changes, cookware). We offer additional service package options. One package includes linen exchange, another provides more frequent housekeeping, cookware sets are available to purchase, etc. By allowing guests to choose and only pay for the amenities they desire, we are able to keep our rates affordable and many guests enjoy a customized experience as a result. It would be a bit shocking if you weren't expecting this and we're so sorry we disappointed you. Thank you for this valuable feedback.

If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. Sincerely, Nate
