The hotel grounds are beautiful. The indoor pool and hot tub were nice, the room was big and overall it was a good stay. The breakfast could benefit from more fresh fruit to make it healthier but it was OK.

The room was not as advertised like in booking photos. Roof needs to be replaced immediately for starters, shower smelt musky, shower floor creaky sounding like you would fall through the floor, jacuzzi tub when on released brown moldy flakes, baseboard heaters were hanging off, walls we unbelievably dusty, cracking ceiling and drywall, back porch covered in roofing flakes from deterioration, sliding screen door would barely open, room was above the that was said to be closed at 10pm but from 12am-2am multiple people could be heard. No front desk staff after 8pm overall extremely dissatisfied with the experience, was told management would call me and never heard back. Be aware before booking.

Of all the places that we stayed, this was the least favorite. There was an odd smell that did not go away with airing out; the furnishings and room were very basic; and the heating and AC controls were very confusing and not well marked. The host was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. If someone was simply looking for a utilitarian place to sleep, this will work just fine.

Not worth the money and not going back!

I should have read the other reviews. The room was big and bed comfortable but the rest was not what a resort should be. Very old sofa that the cushions fell in and chair. Tub was old style bath fitter but the worst was the shower. Not a pressure balanced faucet so it kept going from hot to cold and back. I outlets by bed, there was an extension cord for the lamp. The other outlet was old and the plug kept falling out. This was a $300 per night stay (stayed wed - sat). Could have used a small table and 2 chairs to sit at. The pluses were the grounds - very nice (did not use pool). Best was the staff. Very nice and helpful. Please update the rooms.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was about a 10 minute walk to the downtown area which was nice so I didn’t have to worry about parking. The view was great, the room was clean, and it was accessible to a lovely walking path. Would highly recommend!

Robert was a gem. Jackie is a great host. BEWARE— blackout curtains were over the windows as advertised but the door is half glass with cheap mini-blinds and a verrrry bright light shone through lighting up the room all night.
