The room we were first assigned was not very pleasant. We spoke with the night attendant and worked to find us a different room. That room was very different and much more comfortable. In all the stay turned out to be pleasant.

Very good breakfast for a continental. Food fresh. Innkeeper was excellent when she was there. Limited parking. Very clean. Very pleasant. Only complaint is jacuzzi not working and not sure if we could have used fire pit.

Great views of Bromley Mountain as the name suggests. Unfortunately there was a fruit fly infestation in my room. Thar made the stay a bit challenging. The breakfast was also fairly limited, no hot food except waffles but they were rubbery.

When we checked in at night, there was a key and a sheet of instructions on the desk apparently that’s how they did it for everybody as there were many sheets and keys on the desk. So did not see anybody. We did find our room it was very, very dark with one window that had a broken shade over it. There was no place to put luggage. Absolutely no view. There was a doorthat couldn’t be opened to go outside to the Jacuzzi, which was broken. We were told in this cover letter not to adjust anything as far as temperature, but our room got down to 61°. Bare floor and we were freezing when we did call for help, they did respond and it warmed up 5°. The toilet was dirty under the rim and I did get somebody who finally came and cleaned it. We literally only saw the two people/ managers for maybe a total of 10 minutes during our three nights stay. There is a shower inside of the bathtub inside of the room right next to the bed and you have to crawl over the bath base which is about 8 - 12 inches wide and not easy to step in and out of and there’s no handrails of any kind. We stayed because I had prepaid two nights and the bed was comfortable. Again, I think the rooms on the main floor and top floors probably had a nice view and a sunny window. That probably would’ve made a huge difference in my opinion of this place.No housekeeping of any kind. There were some extra towels and toilet paper on a stand in the hallway between room so we could get that. Most disappointing.

Near spot

It was not new, it was not perfect but it was really a neat and heart warming experience unlike many chain hotels. Try home made banana bread with tea outside of dining room.

Old needs a good cleaning and a weeks worth of maintenance. Shower/tub was in the middle of the room, yes the dead center middle, hopefully you are traveling with very a close companion. Shower/tub caulking was discolored, window blinds draped over the windows, room smelled moldy. Nice location just needs a bunch of cleaning and repairs.

A pleasant, quirky Vermont mountain inn.

This is a neat space in a scenic area which provided good value. I'd certainly stay again as well as recommend the place to others. As I'd selected to pay in person, I found it off putting that I wasn't able to do so and that I had my card charged without prior notice. It was also concerning that there was no way listed online to call ahead to talk with staff.

A pretty good example of getting what you pay for. First thing I noticed was a strong funky smell. Carpets were stained, bathroom fan came on with the light and was deafening, the AC would randomly make a horrible noise (right above the bed) for a minute or so and stop, so not a good night’s sleep. No one on duty at any point to help. Bed was comfortable. Shower was hot. Not one gram of protein in the breakfast options. So it was not the worst, but not likely to return unless there are upgrades. And maybe some eggs 😬

This place was about as rustic, as we could’ve found for a one night stay in Vermont, and even though it was up in the mountains and kind of out of the way, we really enjoyed the area and the magnificent appeal of staying in a ski lodge during the off-season
