Breakfast wasn’t ready on time
Nice hotel, no problems there but there is extensive homeless settlements directly behind the property. As usual, they make a mess of the area. Would have been nice to know but then probably would have gone elsewhere.
I did not like the transient encampment behind the hotel. We didnt open the windows because a yucky smell came into the room. Kitchen staff was overwhelmed at breakfast and people had to wait in linefor food.
There is zero service at this hotel! We stayed 3 nights and not once was our room cleaned or refreshed. Our $270 avg/night stay included a window view of a vagrant camp; just ruined it!
We liked that it was North of town, easy access off the hwy. What we didnt like was the tent city and dozens of delapidated, not running old rv's, transients and filthy piles of garbage and homeless that completely line the street behind the hotel.
Nice enough accommodations; staff and room and food service fine. On highway, train tracks and homeless camping to rear of hotel.
Place is still in really good shape. You could tell they recently replaced the carpet in the stairwells which is many times left for a very long time at places. We stayed here way back in 2006 so I expected it to be a little run down by now but it's clean and still in great shape. The included breakfast is also very well done with lots of options, didn't need to eat again until dinner time.
Everything from check in to check out was fine.
Check in was smooth and fast, breakfast was good, we really liked it and recommend this hotel to anyone.
Clean, quiet, friendly staff, great breakfast
Homeless everywhere
Ok
suite room nice, staff nice. But around the back street of the BW was lined with homeless? or BLM and refuse and junk. BW staff said that they had contacted City of Bend but got no help or that what homeless were doing there. All of the homeless? were in vehicles, buses, campers, trailers or fifth wheeelers making me believe that this was a spot where they were waiting for something to happen so they could get involved....
great cook staff and front desk staff

Our apologies that the housekeeping services were not made clear at check in and that the homeless encampment was a concern. We do understand.
