We had an amazing stay at Grace Lake House over Labor Day Weekend. The kids loved playing in the water and yard. The sunrise in the morning was beautiful. The fire pit area was perfect with plenty of seating. The living room and kitchen was the perfect size for everyone. The beds were extremely comfortable! Their new dock was not ready yet but the neighbor Jeff was gracious enough to let us use his dock. He also invited a couple of the guys out fishing. We went to the Mississippi Headwaters on Sunday and then the kids swam at Lake Itasca Beach. It was a perfect family weekend! We would love to come back!

Amazing!

This stay was everything and more than what I was thinking when my family and I booked our stay here. The place was clean with lots of amenities which made our vacation a lot less stressful. I was able to relax and enjoy time with our family. Our hosts did such an awesome job making the list of things to do in the surrounding area but in all reality we never needed to leave. Thank you for the memories!

Awesome Place

Peaceful, relaxing and rejuvenating

Loved this place. The owners work hard at creating a place where families can come and enjoy the lake with all the amenities of home. The owners attention to detail is remarkable and you can tell she put a lot of thought and effort in making this a family friendly place. The neighbors on both sides reside at the lake and introduced themselves and offered assistance if we needed anything. Definitely felt the “Minnesota Nice” we traveled a very long distance but will definitely try to return.

AMAZING Time on Grace Lake!

An entire week of wonderful weather made our stay even MORE enjoyable. Quiet mornings enjoying coffee on the deck - with only the sound of loons greeting us. The children found the Cinema room to be their favorite "hangout". Quiet neighborhood with very nice neighbors. Would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Exceptional property

Wonderful property in a lovely setting. Exceptionally well provisioned. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. The photos don't fully convey the sense of space and privacy even though there are neighbors on each side. We saw a lot more wildlife than we've seen in rentals on secluded lakes and the home's proximity to the lake provides close-up views. The owner is very responsive to all communications. We hope to stay again next time we're in Bemidji.

Well cared for, inviting property

The property made for a great, week long, family vacation for 6 adults and 3 kids. The home is well cared for and very clean. It's a short distance to the water and there's a nice, flat yard and fire ring for games and a fire in the evenings. If it's raining there's a large dining room table for everyone to gather around. A deck overlooks the yard and lake. The lake is never too busy, so boating and/or fishing are very enjoyable. It is relatively tight with neighbors on both sides, but there is screening and more privacy than you'd initially think. Both neighbors are very nice. The owner is extremely responsive and genuinely cares that you have great stay. 5 stars for this one. Well done.

Incredibly relaxing

Resting on Grace is just as described. So quiet and peaceful. Our family very much enjoyed being able to disconnect and enjoy the views from the deck and the dock. My nephews were able to fish for the first time and enjoy the neighbor dog. Richelle was incredible y responsive. The home is a nice distance from Bemidji but not too far. Having the grill to use and all the kitchen utensils to use was incredibly helpful as well. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Perfect house for extended family!

We rented the house for the week as our son was getting married in Bemidji. We had plenty of room for our family plus grandparents, aunt/uncle and kids ranging in age from 11 to 89! The kitchen was very well stocked, and we prepared the food for the rehearsal dinner without needing to go get any additional supplies. Lots of extra towels was helpful too. Our adult children enjoyed the fun coffee flavors. The hosts were very responsive to any questions. The neighbors were awesome, especially Jeff; and the kids enjoyed playing with Chelsea. It was nice to have campfire wood easily accessible. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home! We will definitely book again.!

Perfect peaceful getaway!

We had a great experience! The house is clean, updated and has everything you could possibly think of! (Was not expecting that!) The kitchen is loaded with all the essentials plus more! We felt right at home! Our kids loved swimming right out back! We were able to rent a boat and have it delivered from Benedict Outpost (if your looking!) The neighbor was so friendly, we had a great time with their puppy (chelsea!) and he even took my husband fishing with him. The lake is small, but quite and great for fishing and water sports. We will definitely be back!
