Not the best of the experiences

Air conditioning is only in the bedroom, the rest of the apartment has no AC at all and it was somehow broken and making a very loud noise when turned on. Had to choose between a quiet night in the heat or a cool noisy night. Ended up sleeping in the living room on the sofa bed. Not pleasant at all!

Degraded hotel in maintenance

The hotel it's not maintained well since many years so it's like a degraded hotel. Also it was in maintenance but without any works in progress. Old rooms.

Convenient Hotel and Accommodating Staff

The people in this place is nice and accommodating. There was a bit noise in the hotel but what do you expect from the World Cup :-). The place was clean and spacious but the bathroom is small. Overall, it was above ok

Nice hotel, iffy neighborhood

Everything was great, the neighborhood is kinda iffy looking though. Staff was very professional and helpful, specially a middle age guy who spoke good English (a rare finding in Brazil) and helped me a lot. The rooms, furniture, bathrooms and breakfast were pretty good.

Nicely appointed hotel on northeast side of BH.

We stayed at this hotel for about a week during Christmas 2013. Our suite was roomy and well-appointed, with stocked minifridge and microwave, free wifi, roomy desktop for work, two flat-screen TVs. Breakfast buffet (included in room rate, excellent selection!), lunch and dinner available in the restaurant on top floor. Top floor also includes a bar, outdoor lounge area, and workout room. Although it is not in the downtown area, hotel was handy for us because we were visiting family in a nearby suburb of Belo Horizonte; hotel is also close to a large shopping mall. Staff members were unfailingly pleasant and helpful. The only things we missed (mainly because they are typical amenities in American hotels so we didn't think to pack them) were: no coffeemaker, no hairdryer. Not a "vacation" hotel, but a good choice for a business traveler or for those who don't need to be near the downtown parks/shops.

Nice hotel for short overnight stay

I flew into Confins in the evening and was traveling to Lavras early the next day. Hence, I needed a hotel close enough to Confins, close to the main roads around Belo Horizonte, and away from the rush hour traffic in the city center. This hotel fit the bill -- 34 km from Confins, close to BR-262, and about 6.4 km from the center. The suite was large with a nice living room, kitchen, small bathroom, and bedroom. The bedroom was quite small with barely enough room to walk around between two twin beds and to access the built in closets. Also, there were no outlets to charge my phone, iPad, laptop in the bedroom so I had to leave these in the living room and kitchen for charging overnight. The hotel restaurant was open until 11 pm in the evenings...convenient for business travelers who arrive late at night. While I received the food I ordered through room service in a timely manner, the quality of the food was so-so. It was too salty. Breakfast was okay...they offered the usual items that most other hotels in Brazil do. There was nothing notable about breakfast. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, though. The hotel staff spoke some English and easily accommodate requests for taxis.
