Serene property with beautiful views of the bay and Mount Baker. Quiet area, friendly staff!

Very roomy for the family! Staff was friendly and answered our questions.

Gathered for a reunion of singing group members. This facility provided everything we needed including a nice common room where we were able to revive some of our old tunes. The views were great of Birch Bay.

Friendly staff and beautiful room. The pool was fantastic. I'll be back!

My husband, our 2 & 1/2 month old infant, my parents and I stayed in one of the 2 bedroom, 2 bath units. I loved how the rooms were on opposite sides of the unit (no shared wall) since I didn't want my baby disturbing my parents in the middle of the night. The bedrooms were spacious, beds comfortable as well as the living room seating. The master had enough space for our Pack'n Play. The condos did say they provided their own Pack'n Plays as well (upon request). The open-concept kitchen was perfect for setting up everything for baby and for ourselves. There is a washer and dryer in the unit for laundry which was a plus while traveling with a baby. The dining table was large enough for game night with my vacationing in-laws (6 total including 2 young children) who were camping at the local state park. We had a great view of the bay and overlooked the pool area(which we unfortunately didn't have time to enjoy but looked awesome). The location was ideal as it was just across the street from the beach/bay and only a few minutes drive to the Birch Bay State Park. It's close to several restaurants, some within walking distance. The only drawback was our unit was a bit stuffy in the warm weather of July. The provided electric floor fans, as well as opening the windows and sliding door were helpful though. I would say the room rate was about right for the time of year (middle of summer), amenities, and upgraded room features (granite counter tops, furniture). Overall, we would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to friends and family. My in-laws were impressed as well.

I wanted to retreat to a quiet out of the way place. I found it at Sandcastle.... Very nicely appointed condo, including washer/dryer, with all the comforts of home. I did not get the feeling I was at a nightly rental but more like a facility you would have in a place like Palm Springs for a few months. I was quite pleased and would recommend. This was the fourth time there and look forward to next time.

The room was every thing i expected. My only 2you negatives is that they only left coffee for one night,at the cost i paid i dont tbink coffee for every morning is asking too much. Our room did not have robes for going to the hot tub. The room was great.

We had a wonderful time, the hotel is beautiful and the staff were superb.

We booked this hotel as a last minute New Year's/birthday get-away knowing very little about the property or the area. Normally, such procrastination can create real disappointment, but not this time! We were delighted with the room and the overall experience of Birch Bay. The 1 bedroom suite was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. Being right across the street from the water was perfect for catching sunsets from the observation deck or evening strolls when the tide is low. We will definitely be back in the summer for a long weekend escape with the whole family.

Booked at the last minute for a 2 night stay...We always enjoy this hotel..Our only complaint would be about the 2 bbqs on the roof top patio which need to be replaced as you cannot light them without the help of the mantaince men..

plumming problems but they were taken care off, appliance problems toaster burned everything even on lowest setting, but resort and rooms were very clean and comfortable.

We were treated very well. The front desk staff was wonderful. Bailey, helped get the sand extracted from our grandaughters hand. John was also very helpful.

The Sandcastle Resort in Birch Bay offers a wonderful outdoor pool that our grand kids and kids really loved. It is right across the street from the beach and has water slides near by. This is our third year and we will go back next year. That being said, the staff is not very friendly and some of the amenities like the big room on the top floor had dirty carpet and the barbecues have probably never been cleaned. Oh, well, we will go back

I was here for a mini reunion with friends. We stayed in a three bedroom unit and all of us were impressed with the comfort and amenities. We cooked our own meal and found everything we needed in the kitchen (pots/plates/etc.) The only thing lacking was seating on the deck. We only had one outside chair and two deck spaces. I would recommend this property.

The room was a modern two bedroom condo with a balcony overlooking Birch Bay. The room was very nicely furnished and the kitchen had modern appliances ie. a stainless steel fridge with water and an icemaker. There was an outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi overlooking the bay. We had a great, relaxing weekend.

It made our trip for the annual owner's meeting very nice.

Liked the location.

Staff really great, good location by beach, quiet
