Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was good but ends too early. Hard to get up before 9:30 am on new Year's day. And the staff was waiting by the door to close it down as the clock counted down. Very intimidating.

If you want a good breakfast, this is the hotel for you. If you want a good night's sleep, go somewhere else. The heating/cooling system cycles on and off loudly waking any sleepers every few minutes. In this hotel you can NOT set a continuous fan. And the manager doesn't care.

I can understand why this property is award winning...the staff are outstanding. Shortly after arriving, they called to ask us if everything was okay. Later that evening, they provided us with a deck of cards on request. Finally, we left a shirt in the room after checkout. They contacted us to let us know and then mailed it to us. It made for a terrific stay. Besides the staff, the location is ideal as many restaurants are within a 5 minute walk and it has easy access to the 401.
